We so do. I spent the entirety of Thanksgiving holed up in bed (flu, pneumonia). Plenty of time alone with my thoughts. Many of them sadness. Gladness that at least she isn't alone anymore. <3

I admire your dedication to find your sister for so many years. I could only imagine the frustration. I keep mentioning that I can't get any info on any unidentifieds from the 1970s and 1980s in NYC it's like they don't exist .. they are not even on Namus and I get super frustrated and I don't have a missing sister. Again I admire your true love and dedication.

I think she made it back to ny. Because of her appearance at the young people's concert that was part of Reagan's inaugural celebration. 11/30 is the last time she was seen, in person, alive, by all of us, other family members claimed to have seen her in east Brunswick, NJ much later.

I don't buy the appearance at the young people's concert. I think that was a case of mistaken identity/wishful thinking. It reminds me of the time when a missing Vietnam vet's family swore up and down that a photo showed their missing loved one. They were absolutely positive--they'd know him anywhere. It was later found to be a photo published in a German newspaper back in the 1920s and altered to look like it was taken in Laos.

Agree. Who knows how many Does are there. The stories are a nightmare of how the ME did not check into people before burying them there. Some actually had paid family plots but were buried there.

In the Netherlands it's law that every single UID has to be exhumed to get DNA after all. The sad thing is....in NY and the USA there are so many UID's. Some states even cremated the UID's. How will people ever find their loved ones...?

Go, and the.miscarried babies, preemies, kids that died.at hospitals.and.were sent there. Without consent. I can't imagine a.new.mothers grief, without a place to.visit. prisoners buryingnthendead, records burned, flooded, lost. There is a woman, her name escapes me at the.moment, melinda, who is the caretaker of the project. It's the only good thing that has come from 9/11: nDNA discovery, once developed with U N. TX, the identify those buried there. More needs to be done. So. Much. More.

She was a resident of the Greenwich Village area in New York City, New York at the time, and her family lived in Oswego in upstate New York. They were all visiting Baltimore for Thanksgiving. O'Donnell's family dropped her off at the bus station for her ride to New York City, then traveled to Oswego by car. She was supposed to visit them for Christmas, but she never did. She has never been heard from again.
  
  O'Donnell had initially traveled to New York City to become an actress or a singer, but she became involved in drugs and prostitution after her arrival and was occasionally homeless. She had hitchhiked occasionally since she was a teenager, and may have been sexually assaulted by someone who picked her up. Her family stated she had always kept in touch with them, however, and they don't believe she left of her own accord when she disappeared in 1980. Her case remains unsolved."

The station that aired it burned down. The networks get rid of reels. Vanderbilt should have it but doesn't. Neither the carter nor Reagan presidential libraries have the footage. Like whoever aired it had to edit it. It is bizarre. All of this is pages ba k in the thread. Current LE on case in Albany us non responsive. It is maddening.

My mom had a very soft spot in her heart for Judy. I'm thinking she's with a lot of caring people.

she looks like the actress from "there's something about Mary" -- what is her name? I spent time clubbing in NYC too - in the late 80s. I see similarity between this girl and my sister (actually she looks more like me in the day than Judy) I will try to reach out to the photog. Thank you!

By any chance did you ever get any info from the photographer about that photo of the girl in the club that reminded me of your sister? (And yeah I can see the Cameron Diaz angle also!)

I am just kind of curious. Iam assuming that he prob has more film and outtakes that are not online. Usually only the best images are the ones that saw the light of day. The other ones just remained on the contact sheets with the red grease pencil markings... Those are the ones you want to look at!!! Maybe Judy is in one of them if that is the correct years.
