ELKTON — Investigators have intensified their search for an Elkton woman who has been missing for five months, in the wake of a comment posted on her Facebook page, police reported.

The woman — Katelyn Marie Cullum, 24 —has “not been seen or heard from” since June 20, according to information posted Tuesday on the Elkton Police Department's Facebook page. Cullum was reported missing to that agency on Sept. 15.

“Katelyn's mother is concerned for her daughter's safety since she has not been seen or heard from since June 20 and (because of) a recently posted comment made to Katelyn's social media account relating to her safety,” the posted missing person notice indicates.

On Wednesday morning, EPD officials could not be reached to detail the posted comment of Cullum's social media account and to supply additional information concerning the woman's vanishing and the investigation that it triggered.

I am from this area and through my own research i don’t believe she was ever truly missing. If you search her name in the Maryland court case system, it shows she’s been in and out of court custody multiple times since this article came out. Just thought I would add that here.

Good info. I've included a link to the court record search. It looks like the last case the State had against her was closed this summer. I doubt it would have been closed if she was still missing. http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/casesearch/inquirySearch.jis

If a link is available for her being at court, this would help to resolve

I saw a lot of them marked as CONC (concluded) and some marked as DFTA (is that Defendant failure to appear?). But this looks like in custody to me. Please correct me if I'm not reading this correctly. Case no. D-032-CR-19-000312 if you want it in full context.

Definitely, the warrant was served, she made an initial appearance - says physically present, and then says defendant arrested. They couldn't arrest her if she wasn't there.

@Darling136 See the attached screenshot in the previous comment. As you should know, most court sites do not let you link directly to cases. Any site that has an initial page that requires you to either check a box, click a button to agree to the terms, or has a CAPTCHA will not allow links to work directly to cases from outside of that site, itself. Such a link only works for those that have already checked the box, or clicked an agreement to terms, or have completed a CAPTCHA. For anyone else given the link, it will not work because that link attempts to go into the site bypassing the agreement or CAPTCHA - which would defeat the whole purpose of having an agreement page or CAPTCHA in the first place.
