Just reading about this case today for the first time. Clicked due to looking for similarities with the March 1995 unsolved murder in PG county (MD - MD - Julie Ferguson, 17, Greenbelt, 20 March 1995). Most likely not connected, but always keeping an eye on similarities... both strangled, though Julie's neck had been slashed afterwards.
What is the status of DNA evidence/testing on this case and does anyone know if it's going to be retested again since, even in the last 4 or so years we've had great advances?
