GAITHERSBURG, Md. (7News) — Police need help searching for a woman who has been missing since December.

According to Montgomery County Police, said 20-year-old Keylin Yolibeth Chavez-Dominguez of Silver Spring was last seen on Dec. 30, 2022, around 6 p.m. at her apartment near the 12300 block of Braxfield Court.

A witness claims to have seen her leaving the Braxfield Court apartment complex with a Hispanic male on Saturday, December 31, 2022. The witness saw her wearing a white sweater, a tan vest, black leggings, and dark-colored boots, police said.

Chavez-Dominguez is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has short brown hair, green eyes, and braces. She has a tattoo on her right arm of roses and a hummingbird and piercings in both her ears and nose.

Police said Chavez-Dominguez has not contacted her family since Dec. 30 and they are concerned for her welfare.

Oh no. For some reason I had the feeling that Keylin was going to be found safe so it's like a punch in the gut to read this terrible news. I imagine her poor Mother and family are devastated - per family comments Keylin always had dreams to come to the US from Honduras and become a lawyer. Sigh. RIP Keylin.

Keylin Yolibeth Chavez-Dominguez was reported missing by her family on Jan. 2, after they did not have any contact with her since Dec. 30, 2022. Chavez-Dominguez was reportedly last seen by a witness while leaving her apartment complex in Rockville with a Hispanic male on New Year's Eve, police said.

While searching for Chavez-Dominguez, investigators spoke with many of her family members and friends, but they could not find any new leads, investigators said last week.
