Hagerstown-area man charged with HCC burglaries
Already charged with an April home burglary, a Hagerstown-area man is now accused of twice breaking into the Student Center bookstore at Hagerstown Community College.

Washington County District Court Judge Mark D. Thomas ordered that 19-year-old Kodjo Akakpo remain held without bond during a Tuesday hearing. Akakpo is charged with second-degree burglary, theft and other offenses in the incidents at the college.


Many of the charges were dropped, but he pleaded guilty to BURGLARY-4TH DEGREE-STORE and Theft: $100 To Under $1,500
