Kristin Marie Spurrier struggles with addiction and traveled to Owings Mills to buy drugs on Feb. 4. Spurrier spoke to her friend on her phone that night but has not been seen or heard from since.

Kristin’s mother says the woman’s car has also not been located.

The family is offering a reward for information that will help them locate the woman.

No, she was located in her car in a residential neighborhood. Very sad.

I worked at Carroll General in Westminster about a decade ago. Even then, the drug problems were getting bad, even among the more affluent young adults and teens. It's so common now how smaller blue collar towns are plagued with drug use. I can't count the overdose deaths I've witnessed as a nurse and a vol. firefighter in that area. It's so sad, because it used to be just a smaller farming area full of families and promise a few decades ago when my family moved there from Baltimore City to get away from those issues. RIP Kristin, your fight is now over.
