Arrest warrant issued for man who allegedly took infant son

Chase Rogers is wanted in Maryland on two felony counts of child abduction out of state — abduction of a child by custodian and hiding a child by relative — according to Sgt. Rebecca Innocenti with the Montgomery County Police Department there.

Innocenti said there is also a court order in place requiring 7-month-old Lucious Jaxx Lynch-Rogers to be returned to his mother, Melissa Lynch.

AS OF NOW, THEIR LOCATION IS UNKNOWN..HOWEVER:
*It is known that Rogers and his son were in Montgomery County at a family member’s house as recently as Wednesday, Sept. 11.

*Rogers was recently in North Dakota and she thinks there’s a chance he may head back this way because he has family in Idaho and Utah.

*He’s also talked about moving to Montana, she said.

Nationwide arrest warrant issued for man accused of taking infant son from east Idaho home | East Idaho News

Chase Rogers, 25, is wanted after failing to appear at numerous court hearings related to the alleged abduction of his son in Maryland. The most recent was scheduled for Oct. 18.

The warrant instructs law enforcement to extradite Rogers to Montgomery County “no matter where (he) is located,” according to court records obtained by EastIdahoNews.com.

Chase should be traveling with his father, Lawrence Rogers. The three may be driving a purple 2008 Saturn Outlook with Idaho tags- 1BBG694, but they may change vehicles or modes of transportation. They may attempt to travel back to the Idaho or Utah area.
