No updates yet from the Baltimore Police Department on Facebook:

Baltimore Police Department (permalink)

Marcus's mother, godmother, aunts, and cousin are all posting on Facebook about Marcus being missing. There are no added details, but they do have some better photos of Marcus. Unfortunately, I can't post them here until MSM or LE uses the better photos. To find the relatives on Facebook, I just searched for "Marcus Deshields," and found his godmother. From there, search for Marcus' mother's name.

When checking for an update, I attempted to check BPD fb. However, when clicking on permalink, it says it’s no long available. I get the same message for their Twitter pg as well.

There appears to be a reason that the BPD took down the Facebook and Twitter posts. This is unconfirmed by MSM or LE, so it is only a **Facebook Rumor** until it is confirmed:

National Center For Missing and Endangered, Inc.

I just found that confirmation:

Missing Baltimore soldier is found dead near community college

"An Army Reserve soldier reported missing last week in Baltimore was found dead near the Community College of Baltimore County in Essex, local police said Friday.

Pfc. Marcus Diondre Deshields, 20, was last seen April 29, according to Sgt. Vickie Warehime, spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Police Department. He was found Thursday with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a wooded area near a parking lot. . ."

Oh no! This is horrible.
I was hoping the reason they took down the post was because he was found; wasn’t expecting this outcome instead.
