Circumstances of Disappearance - Ms. Timmester was last seen on 12/01/1987. Several weeks later, her car was found abandoned at a service station in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC, specifically Prince Georges County. Most of her possessions were still in the car. She was never heard from again.

There is a report by LE attached in Namus that indicates Martha suffered mental health issues and was reported missing in August 1988 by her son. Police cannot locate the 1988 MP report. 2020 report states family are seeking to provide DNA.

No mention of any of those details prob since they can't find the original report. Martha's son now following up was a child at the time she went missing - 11yo if I'm reading correctly.

Aunt Marty was married. She had mental illness and would just take off. She was living in her car. She would her kids come home to shower , get food and leave. Her parents, my Uncle all tried to help her. She would be hospitalized and sign out. She just up and disappear and reappear. Her children loved her so. When she took her medication she was stable but she refused to take it. Her sisters and Mother and Father tried to help her as well. The family was told that her car was found at the gas station near the Potomac . With everything inside. My Uncle bent over backwards to raise the kids work Angelo her. But it was scary for the children and him as well because she just leave.

It's very good to hear your story. It paints a clear picture. She was even more vulnerable than it appeared.

If she committed suicide, her body must be somewhere. The same applies if she crossed paths with foul play.

She was married. She had two children. A son and daughter. She was my cousin. I loved her. My cousin her son reported her missing.
Aunt Marty as I called her, had mental illness, she would leave for days at a time.
She would take her son and daughter and not no where she is. My cousins her son was eleven and his sister younger. My Uncle worked at the Pentagon and it was heartbreaking.
She was homeless, because she leave home, or her parent's house. wouldn’t stay. Her son, daughter and the rest of the family don’t know why she was in Maryland. The car was abandoned with all her belongings. The gas station should have cameras don’t know if was looked at.
