Is this correct?
Matthew went missing October 1, 2016, was spotted in Birmingham on October 15, 2016, then seen (according to msm it was confirmed) in Florida in December and then seen again (unconfirmed) in the Mount Olive area of Birmingham during the weekend of February 25, 2017. During that same time the mother shot the father while he was in Birmingham searching for Matthew.
Last week, said Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards, the father drove from Maryland to Birmingham on Presidents Day and was driving around north Birmingham looking for his son and his son's mother. He located Carrington near the Fountain Heights recreation center and tried to talk with her.
At that point, Edwards said, Carrington pulled out a gun and fired into the father's car, grazing him in the leg. She fled the scene, which was in the 1100 block of 15th Avenue North, and he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Furthermore, the FBI is searching for a vehicle, presumably driven by "armed and dangerous suspects" - a black 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander with a paper Jim Burke tag.
What we know: The mother lives in Mt. Olive, Ala. and does not have custody of the child. Andre Richards, Matthews father, lives in Maryland and has official custody. The parents were involved in an acrid custody battle. Currently the father has full custody.
Court records chronicle a two-year court battle between Carrington and and Matthew's father in Jefferson County's Family Court. According to those records, Carrington fought in Jefferson County to get custody of Matthew in Jefferson County even though Maryland had and has maintained jurisdiction and had awarded custody to the father.
According to msm Matthew was taken by his mother 2 years ago. The current sightings in Birmingham and Florida occurred in 2016 and 2017.
The father reported to LE that Matthew was missing from Severn, Maryland on October 1, 2016. Why then? Where was Matthew prior to that time?
Maryland officials on Wednesday issued a warrant against Carrington for taking Matthew out of the state sometime between Nov. 3, 2014 and July 21, 2016.

The mother shot Matthew's father in the leg (grazed) while he was in Birmingham searching for his son. Apart from that there's little information as to whether or not the parents have a history of violence.
I can't find any detailed info on searches by LE, search warrants served for homes or vehicles or interviews with the parents and relatives. Yet the FBI is concerned for Matthew's safety:
He was reported missing out of Severn, Maryland. He was last seen in Birmingham in October. He was confirmed seen in Florida in December, said FBI spokesman Paul Daymond. "The fact that he hasn't been seen since then is certainly concerning,'' Daymond said.
So what the heck is going on? If it's true that Matthew is in the hands of "armed and dangerous" people then It's awfully hard to believe that his mother has his best interest at heart. To the contrary it sounds like little Matthew is in grave danger and that's not something a loving mother would do to her child.
Crickets in msm since early March. I hope that means LE and the FBI have someone in their sights and therefore don't need assistance from the public. I can't help but think of Isabel Celis, Malik Drummond, Nevaeh Buchanan, AJ Hadsell and so many other poor lost souls and the reported sightings which turned out to be false. Hopefully Matthew really is hidden away somewhere, alive and well. :candle:
