"Rioters, demonstrators, protestors whatever you want to call them" - Wolf CNN

He doesn't seem to be able to see the difference.

Exactly, imo. I think the mayor gets it. This is not only about Freddie Gray. LE tipped the balance long ago, imo - it will get better when LE acts better.

I know many Baltimore police as well as from other departments. They do a lot to help the community and are good people. Majority of LE acts better than what a few selct do.

Is anyone local? I'm hearing from local friends who are saying it's very isolated and not as bad as being portrayed?? I'm so confused.

From the map I saw it's pretty localized right now. But there are people who have to drive through there to get home from work. People who worry if their neighborhood will be next, non participants who live there, non participants who are worrying that their kids might be there. Just because it is happening in a localized area doesn't mean that it only affects a few.

Besides, there are a lot of people in that localized area! r

Not sure the game will go on but police are out front. My husband just said that Cal Ripkin will be standing outside the gate with a baseball bat to protect Camden Yards.

I heard the same inane comment - well, it appears as if these so-called "kids" have found a recreational activity - looting the liquor store en masse.

I find this behavior disgusting. Destroying community businesses by looting is NOT a valid method of protest!!!

IMO, this is the legacy of the MB "hands up don't shoot" myth that the mainstream media as well as the DOJ has promoted in these past months.

They just showed the flyer that was sent out on twitter to "purge".That is how the police knew to shut down the mall and prepare.

:scared: That made me feel sick to my stomach

These aren't the protesters. These are gangs actively attacking police. BIG difference.

So now the line of 🤬🤬🤬 are at the CVS Pharmacy.

Disgraceful that Baltimore LE allowed that looting for so many hours without doing a thing IMO

And what do you think they should do? Send a couple of officers down?

First they need to keep people safe, themselves and fire fighters.Don't blame LE blame the mayor and the rioters.

They had several hours to move into the area and likely the looters would have scattered
