There is video of officers throwing rocks back at protestors.
I don't know if there is a link I can post it from, but it's on twitter and possibly youtube.
Protestors started throwing rocks, cops threw rocks back, protestors rushed the cops.

Here it is on youtube.

I thought they shut down the mall earlier?
Did they just shut it down and then leave it there?
Or is this a different mall?

BBM: Just the simple definition of the word tells us exactly what this mob had in mind:

Purge: noun
1.
an abrupt or violent removal of a group of people from an organization or place. What is happening in our country?

I believe they were implying the movie The Purge about the one day of free violence every year.

Why is this behavior tolerated? So sick of this mob/****/criminal mentality being okay. Why are criminals rights more important than those who are following the law?

It would seem like these riots are a huge deal - but I recently went to a 1960's museum exhibit, and this ain't nothin'. I was amazed - looking at the political part of the exhibition - that the US survived the 60's intact.

Just watched the police throwing rocks video.

I can't believe the police backed down from that mob.

Medication, water, toys, clothes, medical stuff. CVS sells lots more then TP and baby formula.

I seriously doubt these looters were stealing OTC medication, water, toys, medical stuff, etc. I'm more inclined to believe the looters were stealing alcohol and/or prescription pharmaceuticals.

The criminally-contrived situation in Baltimore is NOT an Armageddon end-of-the-world scenario that would lead anyone to loot a pharmacy for life-saving necessities.

Everyone looting CVS appeared to come out with practical things.
Toilet paper, formula, things like that. :dunno:

Really? And that's okay with you?

Giving "those that wish to destroy room to do that...", seriously??

Wonder what this mayor would say if the anarchists were burning and looting in her neighborhood?

I don't understand how so many people think this is okay?
Maybe I just have too much of a moral compass?
I can't imagine doing anything except locking myself in my house with my family and dogs! :dunno:

The police said they are recording all the tag numbers of the people looting the mall.

The news had to leave..said they were beating up a photographer

I tend to believe that the people carrying out toilet paper got there after the looters had already taken the most sought-after goods.

That's a great question!

Since this is what CVS sells, what else could they have come out with?

I went to a local CVS store a couple weeks ago, 1st time I ever noticed they sold liquor. Never seen a CVS sell liquor before. Must be trying to make up for the loss of sales for not selling cigs anymore.
