Thank you for posting this Cubby. This was very deep. I am still old fashioned, with dial up connection. I could not see the live view of the services. If I had to guess LE is waiting on a witness statement or need more witness statements corroborating what they already know.

I wish MSM would clarify where the remaining reward fund stands. IIRC 10,000 of the reward was not money put on the table by the UA students for her safe return. There was so much focus on the money put on the table for her safe return it appears the info on the remaining fund or any additional funds raised has fallen by the wayside.

I wonder if arrest will be made after the final memorial service tomorrow. As to give the Baltimore family time to grieve their loss without the distraction of an arrest and the media attention that an arrest might bring. ( Just a thought)

A two-hour memorial service was filled with uplifting lyrics for the friends and family of Phylicia Barnes. Her father, Russell Barnes, is looking to the pictures and listening to the memories.

Like many, daily i do think about PB.
What her last hr must have been like?
If she was in pain? etc.

I'm sorry about the inappropriate post. I've gone over the rules again and I think I realize my error. I have been deeply affected by this case, as I am sure many of you are. I pray for a resolution soon for the family. Again, Thanks for the clarification.

I think Phylcia captured many of our hearts -which is why we will continue to seek the justice she so deserves no matter how long it takes. Whether it be a day, a week, a year, ten years. We're gonna be here and it is just a matter of time before the person or persons responsible are :behindbar:behindbar:behindbar:behindbar


The group of POI's are too young, too arrogant to be so confident in one another keeping secrets for decades. At some point someone is going to talk. They always do.

It might take time but at some point someone is going to be high or messed up and start talking about how they got away with this or that. Or they'll become too comfortable with time passed. There will be bragging rights to see who did what and got away with it or how many times they did it and got away with it.

And at somepoint someone willbreak. Someonewill come forward. Either by the guilt weighing so heavily on their mind for so long they can no bare the burdern of keeping this heavy secret. Or someone will be busted and facing some serious time and will willing to make a deal to shorten their own sentence.

I haven't been on here in a while. I have been working on another case. My niece's childhood friend disappeared last year on February 21, 2010. There has been no signs or communication from her since then.

I keep thinking back about several months ago, probably March. when Marc Klaas told Nancy Grace, on her show, that police have already interviewed the POI who was responsible for PB's disappearance. Back then, they indicated that all they needed was to find P.B. We have it on one of these threads. I forgot which one. I will look back to see if I can find it.

Now they are saying that they have to start all over and wait for someone to say the right "key words" that will lead to the arrest of those involved.

I wish it was as simple as what Marc stated and it happened quickly. Marc is amazing however he is not LE just the parent of a child who was abducted and went missing, sadly like Phylicia was later found deceased.

Be patient, I have no doubt not even a mustard seed of doubt those responsible will be brought to justice. We just have to sit back and wait...
