I hope she will. I feel odd ever speaking for the AA community but I also grew up where we all are human...who cares or sees race. I know that some thing it is important and do not want to negate but I think people are people. I am still naive I guess.
Again...pray for PB and her friends and family.

Me too. I may be naive and I also grew up in a community were people are people - we were 'color blind' so to speak. My sons Godmother, well Christian Witness is AA. She was also my labor coach and I was her maid of honor. It was really only when I was with her and my son when my son was an infant and toddler - I saw things that made me furious.... I almost went off on someone once in a restaurant it was so terrible, but I wasn't going to stoop to that level. I did however ask this womans friends (while they were all still seated) if they were in the least bit embarrased or humiliated by their companies behavior. Godmom is my very best friend and we are like sisters.. there is nothing I wouldn't do for her or her for me. The one in a million kind of friends that you could count on like family...... (sorry for the OT).

There are a whole group of wonderful advocates out there who could guide JS and JS - given the tremendous publicity and following on PB's case - could really move mountains so to speak. If that is something she wishes to do in the future. Whatever she decides I wish her the best and will continue to keep her in my prayers throughout this ordeal and after.

Things we know but are not privy to full details being on the outside looking in.

PB did tell SS she was uncomfortable around someone the evening before she disappeared. I'm pretty certain PB told SS who this person is and named him or her.​

Others at the apartment the evening or time PB felt uncomfortable have surely been interviewed. Have likely been questioned about what they witnessed between this person who made PB feel uncomfortable and PB.​

I think they have a pretty solid theory - it is a matter of getting the science and undisputable evidence to support what occured.​

I think the walls are closing in on this person or persons.

Trying to be optimistic (new for me) but if they cannot determine a manner of death, I'll be shattered, as I believe P was murdered or at least that her death was the direct result of the actions of others. But I am afraid that if it is determined she drowned, for example, that even that would be a hard sell as far as turning it into a malicious act.

Drowning will make it tough but I think placing her there, realistically, she had no vehicle. No way to willingly transport herself for a visit... It's not like she was old enough to rent a car. She did not get there on her own and she did not get there willingly.

It was stated somewhere that most criminals/murderers don't have a plan B. I think there is a lot we don't know that may be falling together now that she has been located that the perps didn't plan for.

I know we are all anxious for news... We just have to be patient and wait for LE to do their job..... it may be weeks or even months prior to getting forensics back....

I have a theory that could involve a stranger abduction, but it just seems so much less likely than what usually happens in similar cases And the dogs would have to have been confused about the scent trail.

So, I'd look to males around her there. And sure enough, it sounds like there may be holes that are unexplained, to put things kindly

-- Do we know everywhere MJ said he was after he says he left the apartment?

-- Do we know where the other guy who was there that day said he was? I'm not totally clear on who this is, so I'm not using any intials, myself.

-- I read that y'all think no death could have occurred at the actual apartment. Why not? What about an OD? Or, more likely, imho, strangulation/suffocation?

There is some SERIOUS buzz on Twitter. A friend of someone in PB's family, not sure if it's the Sallis or Barnes family has tweeted that db's boyfriend is responsible and is on the run. ?

I just wanted to share this because it is of interest.

Someone asked the person how do they know this, and they replied because their friend, the family member, received a call from the family telling this family member, and that it's supposed to be coming on the news. ?

Again, this is BUZZ, not a confirmed fact.

The streets of Baltimore must be talking about this case and I notice a few of the POIs have been M.I.A on twitter. I believe to have found second confirmation of MJ being on the run from LE. This was posted not too long ago on the Pray For PB page by a Barnes family member who answered a question posted regarding why there are no suspects. The million dollar question would be WHY is MJ on the run when no further details have been released by the ME regarding PB's Cause Of Death. I think LE will need to place a A.P.B on MJ because its clear he is running from prosecution in PB's disappearance and death. This is such a tragedy and I pray that justice is served soon. I'm pretty sure once MJ comes clean about what really happened that day he will not be the only one facing charges. #RIP Phylicia Simone Barnes, precious angel, justice will be served on your behalf! To answer your questions. We don't know where MJ was after he left the apartment.

On the Pray for PB page (since removed) MJ stated he went to pick up his C or LB in the am. IIRC DB stated later C was also living there. So MJ, DB and we believe MJ's cousin all lived at the apartment. LB or little brother stayed the night of the 27th so we know of minimally 5 persons including PB there the am of the 28th. (this was from FB posts from DB and MJ).

LE mentioned they found nothing of forensic value in the apartment and since a person loses their bowels upon death - we are assuming the crime scene is not the apartment. (ETA: At least that death did not occur in the apartment). And that she was lured away by the persons known to be in the apartment. Also, she did not appear on any survellience video in the shopping center directly across from the apartment so that leads us to believe the story about her going to eat was made up by the last person to see her alive.

With all due respect I don't believe anyone knows WHO is exactly WHO in regards to this three ring circus of a case especially when it comes to the questionable prayer page. A lot of fake profiles have been made to throw off people and the Barnes family will dismiss anyone who is not in agreement with them. The person who questioned SB is a POI. The streets of Baltimore is HOT. They had knowledge of the female body being confirmed as PB before LE even released official confirmation. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to know ALL your family members. Whoever SB may be she is letting us know that the main POI is on the run! And with regards to the link posted cubby I pasted a mobile link so maybe that is the issue. I am on my BB. I don't care in what manner this case is solved the MAIN objective is making sure the person(s) responsible are locked up so this won't happen to another innocent girl. Phylicia Simone Barnes did not deserve this! What is amazing to me is that most of the POIs are on social networks still slowly convicting themselves so its only a matter of time when news breaks that arrests have been made. A pair of memorial services are planned this evening for Phylicia Barnes, the Monroe teen whose body was discovered last week in Maryland.

One service will be at a church in Monroe, organized by friends and classmates at Union Academy, where Barnes was a 16-year-old high school senior. The other will be at the Baltimore apartment complex where she was last seen.

I agree, Frostbyte... I guess one of my concerns is that this SB person seems to be far-enough removed from the situation that the Baltimore Barnes' family doesn't know her (or are claiming they don't), so how would she be getting inside info, kwim? Anyway, I guess in the end, the truth will come about one or the other about MJ... hopefully. I want justice for Phylicia Simone very badly...

I had thought of going to the one in Baltimore, but with the bad weather and with 2 little ones, I don't know if I can make it.

I was thinking late last night (when I was too tired to post about this) how Phylicia's classmates have done such a fantastic job coming together and doing so many wonderful things for Phylicia. From the FB prayer page, to having a carnival to raise funds, to organizing the reward for her safe return (which we now know is off the table), and a few other things not coming to mind right now.

This is an amazing group of young students.... IIRC the funds which were to be used as a reward if Phylicia had been found safely were from a school fund to help students. (I don't recall exactly what they were designated for.... )

I was thinking how nice it would be if one of the things done in honor of Phylicia and her memory was to name a scholarship or tuition assistance fund of some sort as the Phylicia Barnes Scholarship.

It would be a beautiful way to honor Phylicia who was on the path to do a great many things and had a wonderful future ahead of her. I sure hope to see something like that. A scholarship or tuition assistance named specifically for Phylicia.

Everytime I see her bright beautiful smile my heart breaks all over again for everything that was taken away from her.....

Bowels don't always release upon death; I was in the room when my mom died and for about an hour after with her and some nurses and that did not happen. She just went from breathing, to not breathing. I'm not positive that P left the apartment alive.

Thanks. I was misinformed thinking the bowels always release upon death but a quick google search indicates that is inaccurate. So then yes, it is possible PB was deceased prior to being removed from the apartment.

Which then makes me wonder, why did neither of her half sisters verbally speak with her the morning of the 28th? (IF they had brought her to work with either of them every day she visited then why leave her home AND not verbally speak to her? ) And what evidence exists to corroborate DB's statement that she spoke with a groggy/sleepy PB prior to leaving for work the morning of the 28th?

I still have nagging doubts PB was alive when DB left for work the morning of the 28th. I hate thinking that but I can't say I am 100% certain PB was alive when DB left for work that morning.

Was it ever stated anywhere how much marijuana and vodka PB consumed the evening of the 27th?

Was it ever stated how many times marijuana and alcohol was offered to PB while visiting her half sisters?

I wish we knew if PB had ever experimented with alcohol prior to visiting MD. I don't have reason to believe she did, other than teens often try things prior to the age of 16 almost 17.

Have we ever seen evidence that PB was aware of the effects of drinking too much alcohol? Was she aware of the vomiting, alcohol poisoning, etc. by over consuming?

I ask, becase not everyone is aware of such and we know PB was a 'sheltered' child.

Most of us know alcohol lessens the inhibitions. If Phylicia was unaware of the effects of overconsumption, after 1 or 2 drinks the rest go down pretty easy and she was not an experienced drinker. IF she had combined alcohol with any kind of drugs offered her, who knows what might have happened.

With LE saying the autoposy was inconclusive and there were no signs of physical injury on her person, I am really back to wondering about the OD possibility and perhaps DB leaving without really knowing if PB was in fact ok or not before she left.

Come to think of it, it has NEVER been confirmed by a reliable source anyone verbally spoke with PB the morning of the 28th. LE has never said so through MSM. All we have heard is what was fed by MJ to DB and then made it's way to LE.

Has it occured to anyone the fact that KB stated she couldn't remember whether she was at DB's the evening of the 26th or 27th that perhaps she didn't remember due to all of them partying too much and not remembering? It is not uncommon to overconsume drugs or alcohol and not remember much of what happened the night of partying.

Did any of these people consume so much they blacked out and couldn't recall bits and pieces of what happened in previous days or the night before?

This possible OD theory is eating away at me guys. Especially with the autopsy coming back non conclusive.
