Rodney Aron Smith, 76, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. in the area of the C&O Canal Towpath near Little Falls Reservoir off the Clara Barton Parkway in Glen Echo. Smith, whose missing status is listed as critical, may be in need of medical attention.

Smith is described by authorities as a 5-foot-10, 180-pound white male with short blond- and gray-colored hair. He was last seen wearing a navy blue fleece jacket, tan khaki shorts, gray New Balance sneakers and carrying a black metal walking cane.
