11:18 p.m = 9-1-1 received call from a resident - Catherine Hoggle was walking in the area of Century Rock Boulevard and Crystal Rock Drive

Officers responded to the area, located Catherine Hoggle, and took her into custody. She is being transported to HQ for questioning.

Sounds like she was hiding in plain sight the whole time. I can imagine her walking around, a bit dazed like in the surveillance video, and still not attracting any attention.

Now to try and work out where those kids are..

Oddly enough, the Facebook page has not been updated to reflect that she was captured. It's been 7 hours since they issued the false sighting at the Food Lion. Now we know she has been captured, and not a peep.

I can't find what I'm looking for so....does anyone know what her memory would be like right now- unmedicated? and if they medicate her- will she be able to remember...?

It looks as if she was still wearing the same clothes when captured. My theory was that she had possibly changed her appearance and that's why nobody was noticing her. WRONG !! :nevermind:

I'll revise my theory now by saying that she must have been lying low during the daylight hours, and then venturing out after dark. Her dark clothing, and the lack of people out running around after dark, would have made it easier for her to move around but harder for people to I.D. her.

I'm not sure that being a schizophrenic affects your memory as much as it does your time frame. I had a neighbor one time that had been diagnosed with that, and his memory seemed to be just fine, but where he got confused was the time frame of events. For instance, something that happened 2 days ago, he thought that it happened a month ago. A conversation we had yesterday, he thought it was sometime last week that we talked. He seemed to be able to recall things pretty easily, he could just never remember exactly when it happened.

It is believed someone thinks they are helping a mother protect her kids. To that person I plead; If you truly believe the kids are in need of protection then don’t go this alone. Call someone, anyone and let them know the children are ok. There is a whole community who loves these children and their mother just as much as you do and we want them back, so all this can be worked out. We all just want what is best for the kids.We are sick with worry, so just let us know Jacob and Sarah are ok. We want them to be safe too, so please just let us help.

“Catherine Hoggle remains in police custody while detectives continue to interview her,” Capt. Paul Starks, a police spokesman, said Saturday morning. “The welfare and location of the children remain our primary concern. They have not been located.”

"The caller told a 911 operator that her boyfriend had passed Hoggle, who was on foot, and spoken to her. The man apparently didn’t know Hoggle. It isn’t clear if he recognized her from media accounts, or if she told him who she was."

The 1st comment under this story says she was seen in the park next to 19735 crystal rock drive with the kids & they need to search that area!

I hope they called that in!!!

ETA: does anyone see a park in that area? I don't :dunno:
