She looks Italian IMO. I know that means nothing though :(

I'm not usually big on the ethnic stuff, but in this case I agree, though I'm keeping open the likelihood of other options. Even if she is Italian, that doesn't necessarily mean she had an Italian name, lived in an Italian community, or even know about her Italian heritage.

There are a couple of other cases where the person has some obvious clues as to ethnic background, and I'm torn as to whether I think that's even a useful thing to know about the UID. So few missing persons reports contain any information at all about ethnic or cultural background, and assumptions are so often wrong, that it just doesn't seem like a productive thing to worry about, y'know?

Alright, let's figure out why she was dumped at a cemetery of all places....

This cemetery is close to the interstate but I'm not sure if someone without knowledge of the area would be able to find it.

This is the address from the 2nd post, stating where she was found/dumped "the 5600 block of Dogwood Rd."

This is kinda dumb, but maybe she was in town for a funeral or had relatives in that area? Maybe she was close to a grandparent who had been buried at LP? Maybe she hung out at a bar and met some pervert who drugged her, took her home and killed her?

If we go on the Italian angle, there is a Julio Pieracci who is buried in LP, d. 1974.

Thanks for the photos.

I notice that across the street from the cemetery is, I kid you not, Dead Run Park. Is this the killer's perverse idea of a joke?

http://www.recreationparks.net/MD/baltimore/dead-run-park-woodlawn

I notice also that Security Blvd, on the other side of Dead Run Park, is a direct route from I-695 to the west to I-70 to the south. I wonder if those highways were there in 1976?

" Security Boulevard was constructed in 1960 concurrent with the completion of the Social Security Administration's new headquarters. "

So yes, SBlvd was there. I'm trying to figure out DRP.

I live about 8 miles away from the cemetery. I know what the area is like now and all the roads that will get you there but I wasn't alive in 76 so I guess I am no help :)

Has the area changed much since you've been around?

Just adding an observation. This woman is described as being 5'8", 159 lbs, and she wore a size 38D bra.

A woman described as 160 lb would seem to me to be a bit on the heavy side. Not quite obese, but chunky. But based on the PM photo, I didn't get the impression that she was particularly heavy.

So I googled "Woman 5'8" 160 lbs" to see what a woman that height and weight actually looks like. The women who were shown as examples don't look overweight at all. Maybe "large boned", but not overweight.

I blurred their faces so that they remain anonymous in the context of this thread:

ETA: I photoshopped my facial recon image onto the body of the third woman, and changed the color of her clothes to more closely fit the description.

There are 305 books in total (not including all-male schools) for schoolyears 1971-76 in Classmates for Massachusetts high schools. I looked through every one of them.

I couldn't find anyone who looked like her spot-on. I found a few who were close, but I was able to see clear differences.

This girl (MM from South Hadley HS 1973 book - Junior) was the closest I could find. Her hairline is very close, and she has the same peach-fuzz on the left side of her hairline, though her hairline might be a little wide on her right side. Her facial shape is very close too. She isn't much taller than most of the other girls in the group, but the photo was taken in 1972-73 (3 years before WJD's death). Her eyebrows aren't as full, but they appear to be trimmed and when I overlaid the images, they are about the same shape (minus a bit trimmed off the top at the outside tips).

I'm not entirely sold on her as a possible, but I'm putting her up for comment. I only have her first initial and last name if anyone wants to try to find any post-1976 record of her existence. I haven't been able to find anything so far.

Here's the link for those who have access to the Classmates yearbook library.

Unfortunately I can't access Classmates but if you PM me her name, I can help search post 1976.

If you send me the name, I'll poke around in the newspaper archives.

I couldn't find much. There's a woman of the same name (meaning the initial only) living in the suburbs. She's the right age.

There's a girl from Greece who came to the US to take a job and might have gone missing here being discussed in the thread for the Panasoffkee Jane Doe (FL FL - Lake Panasoffkee in Sumter County - "Little Miss Panasoffkee", 18-23, Feb 1971 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community). I noticed that this girl has a hairline similar to our Jane Doe. Not enough information about her to know whether she matches on any other stats or circumstances.

I found some Jamaica Plain yearbooks if any one wants to have a look.

http://www.jphs.org/sources-archive/

Here's a girl from the Jamaica Plains HS 1976 yearbook with a widow's peak and a "McD's golden arches" hairline. The photo is of the Student Advisory Committee. She looks alot like our Jane Doe. The photo is uncaptioned, so her name isn't indicated. The book only shows senior portraits, and I couldn't find her among the senior portraits.

I was hoping to sew up the loose ends on this girl before bringing her to the attention of Det. Jacoby, but I have hit a dead end on trying to find out who she is.

So I went ahead and e-mailed this in to Det. Jacoby. Perhaps he might be able to get somewhere with this.
