Some info from the findthemissing.org - Redmond has not been seen since November 26, 1976. Betty's husband said that his wife, along with her car, were missing when he woke up the next morning. The car was recovered at BWI Airport. Redmond has not contacted relatives since and foul play is suspected.

I don't see much resemblance of Betty to Woodlawn Jane Doe.

I was hoping to sew up the loose ends on this girl before bringing her to the attention of Det. Jacoby, but I have hit a dead end on trying to find out who she is.

So I went ahead and e-mailed this in to Det. Jacoby. Perhaps he might be able to get somewhere with this.

This one gives me the chills and IMO is the best match so far, unfortunately you are right, its hard to find out who she really is even with Googling the teachers name. There is a picture of the "Multi Racial Council" where I thought the one girl looked like the girl from the Committee photo. The photographer is taking the shot from above their heads so it is hard to tell. At least with that one there are names listed. One girl on there Santiago is also in both groups. Just my opinion but I feel like you should not give up on this one, if I can help in any way let me know.

On page 70 of the '76 yearbook there is a girl that might be this unknown woman. There's a list of names but I'm not sure if its for the all the people in the picture or not....

Yeah, she looks like the same girl, but the list of names is under the heading "Sponsors and Boosters". The group photo is titled "Student Council - 1975-1976". I don't think the list of names corresponds to that photo.

This morning listened to some old John Prine, realized the initials were same as the unidentified. Perhaps they were a Prine fan?

I am not sure if there is any connection to the tattoo and John Prine. After searching I found there was a 4 day festival in summer of 76(w/ Prine and others) ,that was promoted by a man from Maryland.

This is probably a long shot, I realize

I recently moved to the Baltimore area and pass by Dogwood Rd. on my way to work everyday. The block where she was found has absolutely nothing except woods on either side. I'm not sure if it was like that in '76, but I can see how it would be easy to dump a body in that stretch of road.

has this unidentified had ANY rule outs since 1976? Why is that?

Interesting find. She sure looks like her.

It makes me wonder if that crude JP tat is something her kidnapper did to her to keep her marked while he dragged her across country.

Eileen doesn't have the widow's peak. Probably not her.

I'm not sure. It looks to me like she does, but the way her hair is parted in the middle obscures it.

There was an article written in 2003 about this case that had a lot of pertinent details. I'll have to find it in my drawers somewhere cause it's not online anymore...I haven't revisited this case in years...

Were you ever able to find the article, just curious as to what it talks about.
