What is their relationship? Who reported Zori missing?

I heard it was the girlfriend. Looked for Tianna on FB, but it was a struggle because the pic. they have released and her FB one are completely different.

Double checked and I'm pretty certain this is her. She calls Zori her son in the hospital pics. and going from a post yesterday she doesn't seem to be in a good head space.

Hagerstown Police Department

This morning, Officers of the Hagerstown Police Department were waved over at the intersection of W. Franklin St and N. Prospect St. A woman told officers that she had left her two-month-old baby at her apartment in the 200 block of W. Franklin St. with a male acquaintance. She stated when she returned, the male was still there but the baby was gone. At this time, we do not know where the child is. Detectives are actively working this investigation and numerous individuals have been interviewed. We would like the public to know that we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. In addition, there are many details of the investigation that are not being released to the public at this time, including any potential persons involved. Anyone that knows where the child is or has information about this case is asked to contact Det. Weaver at [email protected] or [email protected]

I can't imagine that the male was involved in the disappearance. It would make no sense for him to still be there without the baby.

I'm wondering if the bio-mum was told or believed it could have been Tianna that had taken him initially.

I can't give bio-mum's name, but I believe Tianna is bio-mum's girlfriend.

We are aware of the other social media post some are referring to. We have spoken to Ms. Dawkins. Again, there are many details of this case we are not making public. It is not in the best interest of the investigation to do so. It is easy to make assumptions on social media but please know we have been and will continue to work hard on this case.

Newest update from Hagerstown City Police:

3/9/22 @ 12:05: On today’s date around 10:53 AM, Baby Zori was located, safe and sound, in the District of Columbia with the assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, units of the Maryland State Police, and the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department as the culmination of a joint investigation with the Hagerstown Police Department.

Tianna Mona Dawkins was also taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant in the District of Columbia in relation to the investigation.

Investigation revealed that Dawkins took the child from his mother’s residence in Hagerstown and fled to the District of Columbia where they were both located. Dawkins and the child’s mother had been acquainted with one another. We are consulting the State’s Attorney’s Office on any appropriate charges related to the HPD investigation.

The child is currently in custody of Child Protective Services.

We want to send our gratitude to our partnering agencies and especially the HPD detectives that worked around the clock with little to no sleep to ensure this child was found. This investigation is ongoing to determine if others were involved and potential charges. Thank you to the public for your support as we worked through this complicated case.

true but it being T doesnt make sense. but then again taking a baby doesnt make sense either.

ETA so glad to see he is safe and sound! sad that he is in CPS custody tho.
