Wow that is some raw emotion there! Good makes me feel much better about the mom.
She said she hasn't seen Ayla in over a month and felt being with her father was the best place right now except she got a broken arm and is missing.

She was asked what her gut is

She responded that the family or her dad has her somewhere. That's what her instinct is as a mom.

She said she's not allowed to search and wants to but PD wont let her
(that's standard)

A must watch if your able to.

Hi All...First time to post. I have actually been lurking on Websleuths for several years but have never posted. But after reading that yet another little one is missing I just can not stay quiet any longer. This so breaks my heart especially so close to Christmas. Praying that she is alive and fine.

With so many children disappearing in the middle of the night or walking out the door do parents no longer buy the plastic things to put on door knobs for child safety that even a grown adult can have problems opening the door. We had them so that our daughters couldn't open the doors. They come in a pack of 2 or 3 for barely anything at any store.

Sorry for my out burst on this very simple act of prevention. Just tired of all these poor babies being taken.

Yes. I'm aware. I'm referring to the family that she lived with, as well as LE. It hasn't been ruled out, so it's still a possibility, and no matter what they believe, it still makes me hinky. Most people would briefly look around, at lest the inside of the house, and then call LE.

She says in there something to the effect of "if the dogs can't sniff her out, outside, then where is she". I wonder if LE told her they used dogs and there was no scent outside. Was there anything written in MSM about that?

p.s. I edited my post, because I initially had "can" when I meant to put "can't". I believe the mom said "can't sniff her out" in the video. Sorry if I confused anyone.

I meant specifically about not finding her scent outside of the home. All I've seen is that there were two dogs at the home, nothing about whether or not they actually found her scent to follow. I thought maybe I missed it.

The one above references that the canine team found no sign of her, logically that would tell someone that there was no scent to follow.

Two search dogs, one from the Warden Service and one from Maine State Police, were at the house where she lives for much of the day Sunday.

It's very likely she didn't have to be told that they found no scent of her. If they had, they would have followed that scent and you can assume there would be something on the news about it. Even if I hadn't been told, it would be clear to me, just from the articles. I just hope they are using the right kind of dogs, because that is always something I wonder about.

Interesting, upthread it was posted he moved back to the family home in which he grew up in.

I wonder if it was sold then the family bought it back in 1998?

This article mentions soft cast on arm also. There is a type of cast that allows some movement which is called a "soft cast", so maybe this was on her forearm. She may have only had a sprain or strain, but I can't see adding an arm sling (unlikely to wear a sling). ??

Some early reports said dad "learned" she was gone from bed, others said "found" she was gone...which is it, I wonder? If he "learned" she was gone, did he purposely wait for someone else to go and notice?
