Vear said he was first made aware of the blood sample Dec. 24, but he doesn’t think it’ll amount to anything.

“I cut myself at home all the time,” he said. “It could be Justin’s, it could be the baby’s. There were five or six people in the house that night.”

How did Vear know about the blood since Dec. 24th ?

I wonder too. One of the pictures from the vigil is captioned "Trista broke down when she learned about the blood." As in, she just heard about this today. So Bob Vear knew about this since Dec. 24th, but Trista didn't know until today? Hmmm, very odd.

It is misinformation pulled from early report that she was there. She has since admitted she was not.

This article reports: "DiPietro, his mother, and a third adult were home the night of Dec.16, and police have questioned all three, McCausland said."

BBM.....Is this a misquote?

Definitely. It was Justin, his sister and his girlfriend.

I've lived in my house going on 12 years and no one has ever bled in it in that time.

Yeah. And Vear, Justin's family friend knew about it all this time but his friend Justin was only confronted with it today via photographs at the station?

If Justin and friends knew about it all this time then that makes me really want to know just what went on at the police station when jJD walked out.

I picture LE calling him in, confronting him with the photos, telling him they have initialreports that indicate it is likely Ayla's, asking him to explain, and he clams up and walks, claiming he has a vigil to get to.

Yep yep yep, I think LE is much closer to an arrest.

I dont think she knew about the blood yet. If she had I would think she would be shedding some of his. Moo

According to one of the pictures at the vigil, there is a caption that says something like, "Trista breaks down after learning of blood being found."
This is not an exact quote, at all.

From what LE has said, it seems to clear to me that the focus is not on Trista or any of her family members.

I've lived in my house going on 12 years and no one has ever bled in it in that time.

MY husband cuts himself shaving occasionally, but it never leaves blood on the walls or the floor or anything at all like that. My son used to have really bad nosebleeds when he was younger, but it rarely made any messes. Only once when it happened while he was going to sleep.

My toddlers used to bleed occasionally though. They had skinned knees and scrapes and cuts and my son used to have a knack for finding sharp things to pick up. But I don't think there was ever anything that would be picked up by luminol.

DiPietro said that he did not want to comment about the police report.

“I’m coming out here today to support her,” he said before leaving the event. “And thank the community for all they do.”

Still NOT talking!

RBBM: Justin not wanting to make a comment about the police report "speaks volumes" ...

JMO ... but I think the next time we "hear something from Justin" will be from his attorney ...

:waitasec: unless he has lawyered up already and it has not been made public yet ...

MOO ...

Here we go again. Another baby murdered; a parent doing it. These parents must be hiding these precious babies out of the area.

I wonder how many are put in old suitcases or duffle bags and tossed in trash cans not in their neighborhoods.

They really don't have to go out of the area, so much water in Maine.

Just four days ago I was cleaning the inside of a glass that i didnt know was cracked. As I spun the dishcloth inside of it it broke and sliced the back of my finger/hand good. There was blood everywhere. The sink, front of the cabinet, trail on the floor, countertop. It was streaming out, through the dishtowel. My family cleaned it up too fast, I wanted to take photos there was so much blood. Of course water mixing with it from the sink, my hands and the wet dishtowel made it seem like so much more. Alls good though. I'm back to typing with two hands today!

I agree that Justin is probably done talking to the media, as well as to LE, and the next time we hear from "him", it will be via an attorney about what a great, loving Dad he is and how much he misses his daughter, who was heartlessly taken from her bed as she slept.

I am glad that LE tipped their hand a bit; I think they knew right away that a kidnapping had most likely not occurred and only wonder why it took as long as it did until they did all of that forensic stuff in the house in early January (I think) unless that was follow-up to finding traces of blood earlier. I do hope they have results soon...very frustrating that DNA can still take so long in some cases and be back in a day in others. JMO

MOO: I think LE should go after the girlfriend because they have a better chance to crack her.

I think JD called mommy and all this happened the day before...Mommy takes the child's body and disposed of it, the rest cleaned up the scene and got their stories together. MOO

I think this is a good possibility.

And I sure wish LE would "share" some info with the public :innocent:

I sure would like to know the "timeline" for Justin, Phoebe, Courtney [gf] and Justin's sister for Thursday December 15 and Friday December 16 ... did any of the 4 listed here go to work "as scheduled" or if they did not go to work ... were any of them at the DiP home on Dec 15 and Dec 16 -- according to Phoebe "changed statement" to the MSM she was said she was NOT at the home the night of the 16th ...

Where did they go and what did they do -- even if they went shopping -- ya never know what people will buy certain items for a COVER-UP ...

We have been told that Ayla missed her doctor's appointment on December 16 ... and she is reported "missing" on Saturday December 17.

JMO ... but finally, some of the dots are starting to be connected ... but I sure wish we had more info ...

PRAYERS that Ayla is found SOON !

MOO ...

Not just Maine...every state has plenty of rivers, lakes, etc. (except maybe NM where I live now.) But in all of the "current" missing child cases, there are plenty of waterways, i.e Portland, Florida, Kansas City, etc...and if not waterways, thousands of acres of land, woods, etc...honestly, it does not take much more than luck to hide a body, especially a small one.
