I hate to say it, but the first who gets to the police station, JD CR ED can probably get the best deal. Whoever cares about their own child should be sprinting right now. Moo
I have been trying to figure out WHY these people are covering for the perp.
And wanting to hold onto their own kids is all I can come up with. Maybe JD is telling his sister and gf that they will lose custody if they admit what really happened.
To be fair, any of the three adults could be the perp, if it was someone in the house.

That is true, but i think less likely that the sis would cover for the gf or that the gf would cover for the sis. imo. The only perp that makes sense to me is JD. I don't think that ED would cover for the gf either. But she would cover for her son.
Does anyone remember, I think Trista had said at one point she gave DNA? If so, they are probably using it to try to match the blood.
Sadly I think that even if they prove it is Ayla's blood, they do not have enough to arrest anyone. I fear that without a body (and maybe even with a body), someone is going to walk away free from this. If a cadaver dog hit at the Irwins couldn't get an arrest, then neither will blood evidence at the DiPietro's.I agree that Justin is probably done talking to the media, as well as to LE, and the next time we hear from "him", it will be via an attorney <respectfully snipped>.
Interesting long comment about an hour ago regarding how DHHS may have played into this:
Morning Sentinel posted 1:22 p.m. 1/28/12, updated 4:15 p.m. 1/28/12: Blood found in Ayla Reynolds' home
Interesting, the timing of this announcement to coincide with the vigil which seems to have been mostly arranged by the DiPietro side (based on media quoting Vear, and on Lavande's earlier statement that Lost and Missing did not assist in this event). We've all been hoping for weeks for any kind of an update from LE, and they have apparently known about the blood for some time. Why release it today? :waitasec:

As a sidenote, I read somewhere that Courtney is in Florida vacationing and trying to get in some additional classes to help get into her master's program.
Haven' t made it all the way through the comments yet but they are interesting.
One of them got me thinking once more about a broken arm and a possiblt temper ( door kicking comments by PD).
I am off to research broken arms that are known to have occured through abuse (ie type of breaks and type of abusive act which caused them).
Gonna bet I will find they occur by yanking child up by arm and/or carrying roughly in that manner, dangled by an arm. Can' t stop picturing JD with armload of groceries, angrily jerking a recalcitrant Ayla up the back steps by her litle arm.

Their words were private, but their body language spoke of anguish.
Trista Reynolds, who rocked back and forth on the City Hall steps as she talked to DiPietro, earlier had addressed the news that police have been analyzing blood found in the basement of the Waterville home where 20-month-old Ayla was last seen.
I dont have the answers you guys are looking for, she told media gathered at the vigil. I want to know where she is and who took her.
Reynolds said that she was trying to process the concept that blood was found at the home where her daughter had been living, then broke off, huddling for support with two other women who gathered her in their arms.
DiPietro said that he did not want to comment about the police report.
