Sorry to ask here, but, why would the Aruba thread be a "Sticky" now?

Was his visit to the police station today. I read the article but I understood it that visit took place sometime ago. I've read articles so fast today, it is a whirl. Does anyone have link to that article? TIA

Thank you, Naturallyme! I was not able to find when Justin was shown the blood evidence, either, and I am still not sure. I thought I must have read too fast, or not thoroughly enough.

My take on it is that Justin was with LE recently to learn this information. I don't think he has been with LE since he took the poly. What say you guys?

  • #644
Mayhap a badly worded article jumbled up their wording regarding the blood info, the confrontation and todays vigil. Thus giving the impresson they were all going on at once.

Sorry if I furthered misinformation.

I think the gate info that was intentionally refered to in the friend's initial blog to demonstrate that the family used a gate at the top of the stairs. Now there is blood in the basement and now we have to think, is it Ayla's? Did she accidentally fall down the stairs? I can't think that a family would cover up a fatal accident. JMO

They have known about the blood since Dec 24th. That was a long time ago. Why are they discussing it in public NOW?

Don't believe everything you've read. There is only one person that mentioned that date. Sometimes can be called an "obsessive fan" if you know what I mean. Hence the "disassociation" as I stated earlier today. Doesn't take much to know that Trista was presented the blood found at the home today...certainly the MSP was not going to give it to a common citizen who has absolutely no affiliations to either side of the family, contrary to said "obsessive fan's" statements. Shall leave it at that.

My question is why did this Vear guy know about the blood on Dec 24 but it appears trista just found out????!!!

Vear's statement about prior knowledge of the blood shoukd get someone in trouble! Was there a leak at the police department, and if so then has he been keeping jd informed so he isn't getting blindsided? Moo

Responding to lavonda's post above. I hope LE calls Vear in to make sure that he was lying about the knowledge.

Exactly. Troubling. Odd and not adding up.

Or he was just lying to make himself appear important.

G'nite all. Please say prayers for Baby Ayla...and for her mom and all who love her and want to hold her in their arms again. I just love this photo and it so represents the innocence of a beautiful child, the wonder of it all...Prayers Trista will have her Ayla home, and soon.

Yes, and I am thinking since that obsessive fan admited to being a friend of Justin if he got the date from Justin? Could that have been when Justin was shown the photos and told his friend?

McCausland said authorities felt they should reveal the information about the blood discovery now, because "we need information from the public, and we think this might help."

"The public needs to understand we're frustrated, and no closer to finding Ayla than we were ... December 17," he said.

It's possible she fell downstairs in the night and they were all passed out. The other children really might have been in bed with their mothers.

But with Ayla alone in her room - and Trista said she slept in a small bed, not a crib - she could have left the room at any time in the night and fallen down the stairs. That disturbs me. Why didn't they just move the gate to the door of her room at night? Or duh - bought an extra gate?

It's also possible that she climbed over the gate and fell that way. I don't think so because Ms. Harry said on her blog (quoted in MSM) that Justin broke the gate in the morning. It makes more sense if the gate was already broken and that's why the child fell. The story about breaking the gate might be a cover-up so that LE would think they had a safe gate guarding the stairs all night.

We may never know exactly what happened unless someone flips and makes a deal. I'm thinking the girlfriend might speak up since her sister is in trouble for drugs and she wants to keep custody of her child (if she stays out of jail, that is).

I've been deliberating whether a small child could exert enough force to break a gate, say if the child had been given a drug which put her off balance. It probably depends on what type of gate was in place. Initially, I thought of the spring-tension gates. Other posters mentioned gates that are mounted to the wall on each side. I've also seen retracting gates that are secured with a hook on one side. Could a small child who goes off balance and stumbles into the gate exert enough force to break it, perhaps if she were running when she lost her balance? I'm thinking of the possibility that the account of Justin breaking the gate was fabricated to cover the "fact" that a drugged Ayla broke through the gate and tumbled down the stairs to her death.

Just speculating. ThoughtFox, I agree that it would make a lot more sense to put gates up to the rooms where the children were sleeping.

I'm not buying the gate story, I think it was a planted idea to make the public think JD was being a reponsible parent. Where was Ayla after Dec 9th or whenever Trista last had contact or spoke to her daughter?

The article at http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation..... reported those three adults were at the home onDec. 16th, but it was a misquote.
I figured as much, but I decided to ask anyway, because the D's stories keep changing. I wanted to make sure it was a misquote, and not new news.

When I first read that article, I almost posted a comment on the site to refute the statement. Instead, I decided to come here to read up on the discussion. Now, I'm starting to wonder whether PD was actually at the home the night Ayla reportedly disappeared from the home. Had she already given LE an alibi and then decided at the end of the interview it was wise to corroborate her story with the one she gave LE?

Also, if Ayla really "disappeared" earlier than Dec. 16th, how do we know which night the family is referring to when they speak about Ayla's disappearance? JMO, but I think there is a lot of double-talk from the family because they are trying to maintain a solid alibi when one doesn't exist.

I brought up the fact that no one had seen this child in the days prior and some neighbors had never seen her on the This Little Light of Maines fb page and another poster commented that her son had but had been asked by LE not to discuss that. This is getting twisted.

What night did he see supposedly see her? That night she was reported missing?

She did not (would not) say only that he and many others had seen her in the days prior. She also expressed disappointment with LEs handling of the case. I cant seem to link on this android but it is under a post by someone named Mickey
