If any of these people had a conscience, we would already know what happened to Ayla, I think if someone talks it would be more likely to be out of betrayal or anger at being blamed by the others.

If there was more then a pint of blood LE would have made an arrest of all 3 by now. Since they didn't arrest I'm going to guess it was less then a pint. Probably more on the lines of a vial of blood. You are right though I think it indicates spatter. My guess is Ayla was crying in her room from pain with her arm. JD gets all mad, goes up, yanks her and drags her to go down to the basement with him. He opens the door to the basement and at the exact moment Ayla really screamed. (probably her arm came out of socket) Then he threw her from the top of the steps. This is my theory MOO

Courtney Roberts is not confirmed out of state. It is possible that some misinterpretted FB posts between her and a friend who lives in FL led people to believe she is in FL at this time.

That is not confirmed at all, it is equally possible that her friend went to Maine to visit her. In fact those posts would seem to suggest that is more likely.

One piece of info LE knows and we don't is where in the basement the blood was found.
That would tell a lot about what happened there if you knew that the blood was at the bottom of the stairs, or in the bedroom, or the washing machine or floor drain.

I agree. And I bet they are not going to give up all of what they know until they hear all the excuses first.

I don't see how one can report a kidnapping and then refuse LE access to search the house...they either figured they did a good enough job covering up, thought they would be believed outright, or are not very bright, IMO.

Unfortunately I don't see that as the case. Remember, this is "great new evidence" to the public, however, the MSP and LE have known all along.

I agree...I don't think the blood alone will be enough for an arrest, unless it turns out to be an enormous amount showing she could not have survived. But even then, who to charge?

They didn't know all along whose blood it was. Those tests take time.

I believe this "father" is an abusive coward, so you are probably right, he will take the "prove it" stance, while his daughter rots somewhere.

I don't think JD is going to come clean either. I think LE has more than the blood evidence. I keeping wondering about the state attorneys visiting the home. I wonder if LE had enough evidence after the two week search to get warrants for monitoring cell phones or maybe putting a gps on the vehicles they searched and returned. All MOO

Probably because I've separated my shoulder... and I can literally imagine the pain Ayla would have felt.

I am also trying to imagine this happening with two mothers in the home...

I am trying to imagine doing anything other than saying "Can you believe that *I* helped create such a gorgeous child?"

Whether you wanted the child or not, wanted to pay child support or not, I'm trying to imagine NOT loving the child once you had her.
I cannot imagine seeing Ayla and not being completely in love with her. In awe you had created something so amazing.

I don't get it. I was 17 when I got pregnant, my kid has special needs... I just do not get how you cannot adore your child.

I hope it is true that they are finger-pointing at the girlfriend, because I think it is very hard for 3or 4 people to keep a secret , as soon as one of those people starts feeling threatened by the others , thats when LE might see someone willing to make a deal.

I agree. Yet, even w/o finger-pointing, I believe this will be solved shortly, if 3 or 4 know what happened. There's no way that many can keep a secret (as is said, the only way to keep a secret is if the other person is dead).

That is what I used to think, but then we have Phylicia Barnes, Haleigh Cummings and others, where more than one person probably knows what happened...
