I assumed that someone IN the house broke the windows with a bat or something, and that someone else in the house took that bat away from that person. Then that person ran off...thus the police using tracking dogs.

I wonder who is actually living in Pheobe's house now. Since Justin only moved in with her when he go custody of Ayla, he wouldn't need to be there any more.

just occurred to me that babies go missing quite a bit in drug environments... just sayin Reynolds, Irwin, Lunsford.... moo

i suppose that in the event of a tragic accident they are more likely to cover it up than to call in LE.

Has anyone heard anything about the press conference going on now?

:seeya: bbm: This is similar to my first thought when I saw the headline that the window was broken last night at the DiP's home ... and my second thought was :innocent: 1 of the 3 ... :innocent: I know ... but ya never know ... just looking at all the possibilities ... :innocent:

JMO ... but I am sure that the house is under some type of surveillance by LE, so it would be really "dumb" for some "random person" to commit vandalism on a house that is being watched ...

JMO here ... we know that the "Waterville 3" are not speaking and cooperating with LE -- BUT -- we have NO idea what is really going on between the three of them -- KWIM ? Again "speculating" here ... but is it possible that there is some disagreement among the 3 ? KWIM ?

I know ... maybe not ... but just thinking out loud here ... :innocent:

To be a "fly on the wall" ...

MOO ...

any news on 3pm presser?
I can't find anything.

I think LE is dealing with some very tough people in this case, who are not likely to crack and will force LE to "prove it." I really do not see anyone talking. If JD's girlfriend knows what happened, she may be even less inclined to talk due to the legal troubles of her sister, wanting to stay clear of all of it. And the D family seems unlikely to "crack." I think LE will have to be able to recontruct a crime scene and make a case without any help from any of the people in the home and hope they can do so. JMO

So many babies missing, deceased! :furious:
It is so hard to live beyond 5 years old anymore.
I think of Haleigh Cummings, Shaniya also.
Just to many innocents.:banghead:

I just noticed that the Sentinel has taken that page down, after I posted the link upthread. Have no idea why.

The breaking of windows has me concerned for ED's child.

But it also has me thinking if anyone, adult or child, came up missing out of your home and you truly did not know how or why, wouldn't you be scared to stay there?

I wouldn't stay there. Ever again.

If ED knows anything about what really happened to Ayla (and IMO she does) and she really cared about her own child she would be at the police station telling them everything that she knows and begging them to work out some kind of deal with her to let her keep her child. The longer this drags on, the longer none of them say anything, the longer they cover for whichever one of them is responsible, the worst it will be on them when the truth finally comes out. If ED continues to wait and then try for some sort of deal after LE has figured out where Ayla is and what happened to her, then she will most likely loose her child forever. All three women in this case (assuming it was JD that did the crime) need to stop covering for JD and tell the truth for Ayla. JD is a grown man who can take care of himself. Ayla was an innocent two year old little girl that has been tossed aside by at least 2 women that should love her completely.

I have wondered the same thing. How could the sister allow her baby girl to sleep in that house? I couldn't do that. Not if I thought it was an intruder, anyway...

Police rushed to the home about 11:15 p.m. Friday after Phoebe DiPietro, the missing child’s grandmother, called to say somebody was throwing something through the windows. Police found no such objects there, leading them to believe the attacker broke the windows with a bat or similar object.

Did Phoebe not realize the police would look for objects that could not be found?

Was she just scared and knew the window was broken and she had heard a noise and thought objects were being thrown or...........

Was Phoebe home when this happened? Did the neighbors hear anything? What about her car? Was it damaged?

IMO, that is why she feels safe.she knows what happened and who did what.

I just wonder whether LE believes her after all her, um, truth embroidery.
