ME ME-Cape Elizabeth, Female Early 40s, Body Found on the Rocks at Fort Williams Park, 3/13/25

I’m not sure she was dressed for any sort of outdoor pursuit. I definitely wouldn’t be hiking in Doc Martens and $200 jeans. And Fjallraven, while it started as a trendy outdoor ish brand, is definitely something worn more by people who like well made stylish European brands and not by anyone doing anything technical outdoors. To me, she is dressed like someone who is going out to lunch or to a bar for a drink or a more urban terrain rather than say going on a hike or going to the beach.
this! She was def dressed for walking at Ft. Williams, though I would have thought she would have coat, but not anything more than that - trendy clothes vs actual activewear.

Since she still had indications of a recent surgery, I wonder if this will turn out to be medically related?

I'm really surprised no one has missed her yet. Could she be from another area altogether and turned up there after travelling in the water some distance?
I would think the tattoo and surgical wound would have been added to any missing person's flier/details - it's so weird ot me that no one has missed her!!

I also find it interesting that some outlets are saying "found on the rocks" and some are saying "washed a shore". To me, knowing the area, those indicate totally different scenarios! Did she fall from the trail on to the rocks or did she come from elsewhere and actually wash ashore? It has been almost a week, I hope they release more information soon!

The 51-year-old woman moved from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine, in the spring of 2022 because she wanted to live on the East Coast; she was drawn to Maine’s beautiful scenery and coastline, her older brother, Thad Carlson said.
Thad Carlson, who lives in California, said he didn’t know why his sister died but had been battling a kidney disease before her death.
Thad Carlson described his sister as a smart woman with a warm personality. They grew up in small, rural Ashby, Minnesota, and moved away after graduating high school and college.
Rest in peace, Sari 💔
