Missing Person Case

Original

Cynthia dropped her son at school and was never seen again. There is suspicion that Cynthia walked out into the river and intentionally drowned herself.

There is nothing about her on the web. It's like the town forgot all about her.

This is a VERY specific thing to state publicly without any further explanation...why would they think this?

What about her car? Was her car recovered?

Bumping for any further info, seems like police dropped ball on giving any details to public or even having people look for her. Would be interested in son’s perspective and any other friends or relatives.

Replying to a few comments. As far as the specific nature of the details of Cynthia walking into the river and intentionally drowning herself; that is because there were footsteps leading down to the river along with those of her dog and her footprints entering the freezing water and the dog's prints going back up the hill. Diving crews looked for a few days but did not find her body. As far as "it was like the town forgot about her" her husband had died 18 months earlier so the house was packed up and the kids shipped off to relatives. She suffered from severe mental illness and that is how she decided to end it. No body found til this day, though we were notified for a DNA sample to try and match with some bones that were recovered this past year but it was not her remains. I know this information since I am her daughter

I am so sorry for the loss of your parents. I just saw a TikTok about your mom and finally joined this website because of her case. You answered some questions and I appreciate it. I hope you and your siblings and other relatives were able to live happy lives.
