Details of Disappearance

Nadine was last seen walking in Inkster, Michigan, on John Daly Road towards Michigan Avenue, at 9:30 a.m. on August 16, 1974. She was on her way to babysit at her boyfriend's house in Taylor, Michigan at the time. Her boyfriend was going to meet her there. He arrived, but she never did. Nadine has never been heard from again.

In 2018, authorities announced Arthur Ream was a possible suspect in Nadine's case and in the disappearances of Cynthia Coon, Kimberly King, Kim Larrow and Kellie Brownlee. A photo of Ream is posted with this case summary.

He was convicted of rape in the 1970s and, in 1986, murdered Cindy Zarzycki, a thirteen-year-old girl who was dating his son. He was convicted of her murder and afterwards, in 2008, he lead authorities to her body, which was buried on in a shallow grave 30 miles from Detroit, Michigan.

While in prison, Ream reportedly told cellmates he was serial killer with four to six victims. In May 2018, police began digging at the same property where Cindy had been buried, expecting to find the bodies of other missing girls there. No human remains were located, however, and the digging stopped after a week. All the cases remain unsolved.

Inkster, MI to Taylor, MI is close to 7 miles and roughly a 2+ hour walk.

Additionally, Inkster is <25 miles to Detroit and also into Ontario, Canada.

There's a detail that unsettles me. If she disappeared in 1974, how did she have a ring of 1976 class?

Hi, I was the boyfriend of Nadine at the time she went missing, We would always start walking And meet at a halfway point and than walk back to my house, it would take only about 20 to 25 minutes for us to meet up, Beechdaily rd is a straight shot and she lived on the boarder of inkster and Dearborn hits, sometimes I would walk all the way to her house and could make it in under a hour. She was one Special girl and what ever happened to her she did not deserve, And She will never be forgotten!!

Hi I was the boyfriend of Nadine when she went missing, I really don’t think that Reams had anything to do with Nadine missing, there was another serial Killer, Carl Eugene Watts that lived only Blocks from where Nadine Lived and went Missing and was supposed to have killed so he’s says his 1st victim in 1974, Police new Nothing about him untill 75 or 76, To this Day I don’t know why they never check the property or crawl space where he lived, or the wooded area or river ( rouge river ) that Nadine had to walk through on John Daily Rd on her way to meet me, Till this day That still bothers me, Nadine you will Never be Forgotten
