O'Dell was last seen walking in Inkster, Michigan, on John Daly Road towards Michigan Avenue, at 9:30 a.m. on August 16, 1974. She was on her way to boyfriend's house in Taylor, Michigan at the time. She never arrived there and has never been heard from again.
