Sheriff’s Office investigates missing Greenbush man.

On the date of April 18, 2024, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office received a missing person complaint in the Town of Greenbush.

Deputies learned 47-year-old Jeremy Hill of Greenbush had been missing for several days.

On April 19, 2024, Deputies continued investigating and searching the area by ground and with the assistance of Customs and Border Protection Air Mobility Operations.

It was reported that Hill was last seen wearing gray-colored clothing. Hill is 5’ 10”, 200 pounds, and has brown hair.

Autopsy results positively identified the person as 47-year-old Jeremy Hill, the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office shared Wednesday in a news release.

Body recovered from Penobscot River in Greenbush identified as missing local man

The man's body was pulled from the river Sunday after police received a report of its discovery. The man's identity was confirmed Wednesday.
