Body discovered on the side of the road in Augusta
A body was found on the side of a road in Augusta Thursday afternoon.
Augusta police found the body around 3:30 p.m. while investigating a missing person report. Investigators did not say if the body is connected to the missing person.
Way too close to home. I travelled this road daily on the school bus, rode my bike past this spot to get to the corner store, and will be traveling it tomorrow.
Info on the location. This is Augusta but the outskirts of Augusta eventually ending up in Weeks Mills, Windsor area. Weeks Mills road is off RT 3 which goes from Augusta to coastal region Belfast area. HEAVILY travelled by tourists and locals. Weeks Mills Rd would more likely be locals but I don’t believe the body was found too far off from RT 3 so easily accessible by anyone.
No clue if it’s a natural or suspicious or what missing person they were looking for.
