Found Deceased ME - Kurtis Madore, 31, Caribou, 2 June 2019

Kurtis Madore, 31, was reported missing more than a month ago, according to a release issued by Maine State Police on July 9.

The brief statement, which is on the state police’s social media page, indicates that Madore was reported missing on June 8 “after he had left his girlfriend’s mother’s house on Caribou on June 2.”

Police say Madore has not “been seen or heard from since,” and describe him as “5’8’’ with brown hair and eyes, and weighing 145 pounds.”

Details of Disappearance
Madore disappeared from Woodland, Maine on June 1, 2019. In May 2021, a dogwalker found his remains in Caribou, Maine. His death is under investigation; the cause has not been determined, but authorities stated there was no evidence of foul play.
