LEWISTON, Maine —
Maine State Police are assisting the Lewiston Police Department with an incident in the city, according to troopers.

Police are investigating what is being called an active situation.

Public officials tell Maine's Total Coverage there are two active scenes. A shelter-in-place has been issued by the city.

At least 10 dead, dozens more injured in Lewiston mass shooting event, ABC reports

At this time, law enforcement are urging people to stay inside and lock their doors.

Sparetime seems to be a bowling alley. Many, many years ago I was on a Wednesday night bowling league and that's who I am guessing was at the bowling alley. Co-workers of his, I'm wondering? Workplace anger?

"Central Maine Medical Center is reacting to a mass casualty, mass shooter event. At this time there are no specifics to share on the number of casualties," a statement from the hospital says. "Central Maine Healthcare is coordinating with area hospitals to take in patients."

At least 16 people are dead in multiple shootings in Lewiston, Maine, Wednesday night, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

Fifty to 60 people are injured in the incidents, though it’s unclear how many are injured due to gunfire, the sources told CNN.

Why does he look like the man from Gardner that killed his wife? Do they have ID on the shooter yet?
