CNN:
Shooter appears to be trained.
”A police officer‘s worst nightmare“

Like other New England natives and military family members, this is crushing my heart. Visions of Boston Marathon are playing in my head.

I also saw that RSO is an officer in the army who provides answers for retiring service members and surviving spouses…..
RSO - Retirement Services Officers

And if I could figure out how to link this I would, but super easy to look up.

What? I thought I read there was only one suspect? Here.

This is not good. ☹️
One shooter, this sounded like it was someone helping after the shooting.

The violence in Lewiston is "completely unusual" for Maine and the area, he said. The two cities — Auburn with a population of around 26,000 and Lewiston around 35,000 — are separated by a river, Levesque said.

“I can’t go to the grocery store without running into someone who's complaining about a pothole,” Levesque said.

This. This is what New England is, at least those of us away from the Boston area. I was born not far from Lewiston, though I was only there for my first year of life.

I think it's a red herring.
It does make sense to have a change of vehicle, but I can’t remember it happening in an event like this. These guys don’t expect to get away with it, hence the lack of effort to obscure his identity.

One of the released pics shows him with correct trigger finger discipline. imo

You could tell by the way he was carrying the AR in the news photo. He has extensive training and target practice. MOO as a career Army spouse.

I think I will wait this out until LE makes a definitive statement. I am just floored by another mass murder.

It seems he's enjoying his games thus far...

Same. There’s always a fog of war in these (multiple shooters). I can’t imagine he had help either. These are almost always lone wolf type events.

Two Lifeflight choppers. At least one has 4 patients on board.

Just my thoughts.

Paraphrasing John Miller on CNN right now

Is he getting away because he think he can get away with it?

Or, and much more scary, is he getting away because he has another target?

Another guest (LE expert) is saying that this guy appears to know exactly what he’s doing (trained), and it’s very scary.

State police are now taking over per police radio.

Oh no. Lone wolf. As in the lone wolf attacks we’ve recently been warned about by Homeland Security?
