Circumstances of Disappearance
Samuel was a sailor aboard the steamer ship Mallemac. He went ashore with some shipmates on March 1, 1932. Witnesses report that Samuel got very intoxicated and could hardly walk. A taxi dropped the men off near the dock to board the ship and only one man made it on the ship that night. The others arrived the next morning and Samuel was never found. Samuel was born in Texas in 1910, exact date of birth is unknown.

Welcome. He was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, Hunt County, Texas. By the way the correct spelling of the steam ship is Mallamack. F. William R. Ward, born in Arkansas in 1866 and Mollie Elizabeth nee Frazier, born in Mississippi in 1874. Due to privacy no descendants will be listed.
