On “Geraldo At Large,” Rivera promised to cover the trial closely. “We’re going to raise some hell down there in Orlando and bust apart some of the preconceived notions that may exist,” he said.

Rivera said Anthony’s prosecution was “a political decision” by a county prosecutor that “will come back to haunt him and the people of Orange County, Florida.”

Yeah, we had to listen to the same bs when the Scott Peterson case was happening. And they had no evidence to prove that he killed her, physical anyway, but he was convicted of first degree.

Oh, Geraldo needs some ratings and so he goes with this. They are going to come out of the woodwork to make money and take the opposite side. I am going to tune in to wftv - forget HLN, maybe Nancy, but I am not watching these people who are there to make money off it.

The prosecution had nothing to do with making this case a media sensation. Cindy and George were at the forefront. I believe Geraldo said Cindy was in profound denial and did many a show showing her daughter's guilt.

So give me a New York break Geraldo "Rivers".

I, too, will only watch Nancy on HLN since she is the only PRO-CAYLEE VOICE on that station.

The media, who has NOT been regularly covering this story, like Geraldo, will be dropping "bombshell" after "bombshell" ... but it will not be anything "new" to many of us. And this media -- you can bet your boots -- will be PRO-ICA and PRO-Anthony Family.

Unfortunately, we know who will be THEIR (media) "VICTIM" -- the "defendant" and her parents and brother ...

In the meantime, the "REAL VICTIM" -- Caylee -- this adorable little 3 year old girl who was murdered in cold blood, will be lost in the DT's "Circus" and the Media's "Side Show" !

In My Opinion ... the only "media" who should be allowed to cover this trial should be the ones who have been there the whole time, like the local stations in Orlando and NG ... NOT the "media" who are doing this ONLY for RATINGS !

What crime could possibly be worse? Adults can at least try and defend themselves against harm. But a child, a small child, cannot protect themselves. They can't run away, they can't physically fight back to protect themselves, how can they fight off an attacker? Now add to that the fact that your killer is you own mother. Not only has she killed her own child, she tried to blame someone else and GR wants everyone to take pity on her.

A couple of weeks away from her trial and we have never heard a word from Ms. Anthony of it being a terrible accident, not once, but plenty of news from her defense team that someone else did it. It is bad enough that your child died by your own hands but to blame someone else......KC deserves no pity, none. She should never be permitted to have another child, ever... jmo

ORLANDO --
The city has begun preparing for the thousands of people expected to flock to Central Florida for the Casey Anthony trial.

The trial will draw reporters, spectators and even vendors to stay in Orlando, and the city wants to make sure it's prepared for all of them.

On Monday, the City Council is expected to approve temporary permits for media staging areas.
