He had George on his show last weekend, and George was saying how much he wanted to help Haleigh's family. There was video of George hugging RC. Now, knowing that.. I wonder how George will treat Geraldo after this episode? If I was disgusted by Geraldo's behavior.. what do you think George feels like? This was such a shameless display of character assasination for the sake of ratings, I hope George tells GR off personally.

Anyway... I have been trying to find out whether Fox pays for interviews, etc.. and whether Crystal made any bank off of this. If she did, it's even more sick. I'm disgusted by her, and prior to last night's show, I really felt terrible for her! I still feel awful that their daughter is missing, but it's harder to have sympathetic feelings for her now.

I am so happy that George is taking his energies and putting them into something positive by wanting to help. I didn't get to see the clip where GA was hugging RC, but I'm sure he brought much comfort to the family. As far as GR goes, I've been disgusted with him for years now....this latest stint just shows how tacky and trashy he truly is IMO. I was most impressed with RC and his ability to keep his cool towards GR. I'm sure RC's nerves are shattered at this point, and him keeping his cool during that line of questioning speaks volumes about his demeanor and his priorities...which is finding Haleigh. Me on the other hand, I most likely would have plucked GR in the:crazy: nose and sent him on his way wearing a big dunce cap.

I was completely astonished that Geraldo was saying the things that he was, and he was right up in Ron's face like that... I was sitting there thinking "Oh no, RC is going to lose it, and then THAT will be the story"... I was very happy that he didn't punch Geraldo. Also, when they were 'escorting' GR off the property, Ron said "I want everyone to know that this is all about my daughter Haleigh" and he went on to say that if anyone has seen her, call, etc.. He put the spotlight right back on what it should have been on. Good Job RC! He said exactly what he should have, and it made GR look like a huge jerk.

ITA! Anything bad I was thinking went out the window. I thought it was pretty classy 1. not to bad mouth his ex-wife (yet), 2. not HIT GR (can't say I would have been so calm) and 3. turn the focus back to Haleigh. I was really impressed. Thats JMO

The media can be your friend or your enemy, but mainly the media is out for themselves. I have read headlines in my local newspaper that had almost nothing to do with the article that was written below. It was for sensationalism.

I do not like Geraldo - haven't liked him for years and years. I do not wish any human being any harm, but I wish he would just go away, LOL, and retire!

I like that Ron was asking GR where he was getting all of this information. GR blindsided Ron. Ron wants the media to keep Haleigh in the news, so he goes out to talk to GR who then attacks him with unfounded rumors. Who the F is GR to do this? Ron is talking to LE which is all that is needed. GR isn't trying to find Haleigh, he is just trying to keep his show.

Shame on all of them who are dissing the other in the public. If they have suspicions - TELL LE not GR!!!

I think it's ironic that GR didn't "mess" with the Anthony's the way he "messed" with the Cummings... He's smart enough to know with the A's team of lawyers he'd be slapped up side the head with a lawsuit in a New York minute. Instead he chose to attack a , lawyerless, defenseless, grief-stricken family. I don't know if Ron's guilty or not but I think this whole thing speaks volumes about GR's ethics and prejudices. The fact that he didn't balance any of this out with CS's and her b/f's record,also says he's a pathetic journalist to boot (since it took a sleuther here no time at all to dig it up)

Shame on him. He is nothing but a bully picking on someone smaller & weaker. He was too busy kissing-up to Jose and the A's, but has the gall to insinuate that RC is a narc! He has put that entire family in jeopardy with that statement. I was so glad to read that GR was given a no trespass order from LE. All he did was take sides in a domestic dispute between Ron and Crystal, that doesn't seem like good journalist to me. I wonder if this family's *social status* has anything to do with his reporting style.

OMG, Geraldo is such a tack-less, loser of a news journalist. What kind of person does something like that to someone who is looking for a missing child. Geraldo did not get in the Anthony's face like that about their daughter Casey. WTH does Geraldo think he is? I cannot believe that Fox News allows this type of harassment and intimidation!

That's it for me as far as Fox goes. Fox is obviously a grade B news show. I wonder if RC can file any type of charges against rude, butt-in, clueless Geraldo?

I don't think most major news organizations pay, but there are ways around it (licensing fees for photographs, etc.). We'll probably never know.

I bet George is saying "phew... thank god my good buddy Baez kept the GR circus away from my Casey!"

Yep! Social status and lack of friendships with people in "high places" (read: a fellow puerto rican bar member boating friend aka JB...). Honestly I think Fox should fire him.

Judging from what little we just saw it looks like GR may have succeeded in dividing the mom and dad camps....

Hi Jaime, We have seen now for 2 weeks how these 2 families don't get along. Last weekend each family had a meeting and it wasn't a joint one but separate which told us allot.

I think all it did was show the public the distance between them. I think it's been brewing for a long time, so don't think Geraldo sparked it.

Sure did remind me of the days when Starsky & Hutch roamed the South. lol

I am a loyal Fox watcher & would LOVE for them to get rid of GR -- this episode sealed it for me. The difference in how the media is portaying this family compared to the As is appaulling to me, too!

They certainly got one from me. I told them how disgusted I was with GR's show and how I thought the bit about the "beaten to a pulp" pic was a complete lie. I also stated that GR put a man's life in danger with the "informant" comment I let it be known that in my eyes they were considered less accurate than tabloids for portraying that crapfest as news! I won't watch them at all after this. I hope that in addition to the trespass order, LE looks into filing some charges regarding impeding an investigation, endangering RC...something. I have never been in such support of someone under investigation lawyering up - but RC should.
