I highly suspect they all talked about this amongst themselves from the beginning to save time, and perhaps that is why the 12 actual jurors were of one mind about it and at least one of the alternates is too. They made their decision without paying attention to everything presented. There's nothing else that explains to me how that many different people could all be so sure of the same thing so quickly.

They owed it to Caylee to at least review the evidence they did not do that IMO

I was listening to a show earlier and this jury was made up of:

2 high school dropouts
1 caught with drug paraphenila
1 whose children had issues with law
1 whose sister tied up the grandpa

It becomes clearer why they reached the verdict they did after learning more about the makeup of it.

True the real problem was in jury selection. There was a DUI and an assault charge in there also.

The fact of the matter is this jury was pro-defense because of the make up of people who have had tangling with the law. This jury never should have been sworn in. I know we would have flipped out having to go through it again but in retrospect this jury was never going to convict Casey even if they had a video of her applying the tape.

They did not follow jury instructions, they did not heed the warning of the judge to not discuss this case and even during the trial there were times that jurors looked at one another and made comments. Reasonable doubt is not removing all doubt. Reasonable means just that. I didn't feel this was a murder one but child abuse is where this jury had an option and they chose not to use it.

This is a message to those who may want to hurt their children. Make sure the child has been eaten by animals, scattered over 20 feet in a swamp and completely skeletonized. Not knowing cause of death are you kidding me? Only God knows that but it is clear this child didn't walk into that swamp and Casey sure had a party afterwards.

This alternate juror proves that the defense OS is what the jurors used as evidence to make the not guilty verdict----------slick on JBs part but very sad that 12 jurors fell for it.

As for Cheney Mason... well, did it even occur to anyone that his gesture COULD have been triggered by some idiotic remark made by some member of the press? He may have had a good reason for doing what he did. I've seen all manner of making fun of him because of his age and his hearing problems, which is something he cannot help. I have a hearing problem myself and it infuriates me because other people don't understand the frustration it causes.
Unbelievable.

I'm old and deaf, I find it makes rudeness much easier to ignore; winning usually does, too. Lack of class is what makes people flip the bird - nothing else.

Thank you for the posts regarding JA's appearances today! I took last night off from WS, the internet, TV, etc. and just unplugged.

I'm grateful that his television appearances will be my last interaction with this trial. I will not participate in watching the sentencing for ICA, as my heart, spirit, and mind just can't take it.

I would be very surprised if he did that. I think - and hope - he will teach law and write books about it. He's got a world of knowledge in his head. It would be great if he would pass it on.

He could be a wonderful mentor for younger people. He could change lives.

How old is JA? I'm surprised he's retirement age, I never would have guessed it. Inever expected the SA to be anything less than class acts.

I read that he is 53.

He truly was gracious, and I really respect him for that.

If only he'd been more like this at trial....

Isn't that the truth..he actually seemed more human in this interview. His nasty facial expressions, bullying of the witnesses during the trial, his obvious hatred of JB and his laughing during the defense closing arguements, in my opinion, helped the defense a lot. I was one of the few that could not stand JA's demeanor in court..but seeing this side of him made me wonder why he acted that way during the trial.

Linda & Jeff did an excellent job on this case. I just wish the jury had of been able to connect the dots & see the truth.
They are both class acts, so opposite of the defence team.

Exactly.......it occurred to me this morning they did not understand what was put before them. 31 days spelled out and they still didn't connect the dots.

Do you honestly feel someone can be convicted of murder based upon not reporting a missing person for 31 days? Is that proof of murder beyond a reasonable doubt? I hope not.

I just watched JG on the Today show. He said the last time he spoke with KC was the time she showed up at his home to take a shower because she had no where else to take a shower. JG said if he were to speak to KC again he would tell her to repent because at the end of the day she will have to tell why Caylee is no longer on this earth. He said the whole A family was completely dysfuntional, and that KC and CA are both liars.
