Sheaffer said the Anthonys' private investigator, Dominic Casey, picked up what appeared to be a blanket at the scene and tossed it aside and that it did not appear Mr. Casey and his colleague, private eye Jim Hoover, who was behind the camera, were doing a random search.

Sheaffer said Mr. Casey appeared to be focused on areas where there was a configuration of stones or concrete pavers, not just at the crime scene, but also at what appeared to be an abandoned back yard where Mr. Casey was actually digging.

This week, the jail's most famous inmate, Casey Anthony, bought $48.01 worth of items, including Cocoa Butter lotion ($2.93), five chocolate-chip granola bars ($2.93) and a bag of cheese puffs (75 cents). She previously bought a radio, Speed Stick deodorant, Noxzema face wash, and a sketch pad and pencils.

There are limits to what the commissary offers, of course. A jail official recently corrected CNN's Nancy Grace when the host talked about a "shrimp cocktail" Anthony had ordered. The closest thing in stock is a shrimp-flavored instant lunch of ramen noodles, jail spokesman Allen Moore said.

Kronk said in a statement issued to Local 6 News that the kidnapping involved a domestic situation with a man who was living with his former girlfriend.

"As a result of that confrontation, I was arrested based on false allegations that I had kidnapped my former girlfriend," Kronk said. "I chose to disclose this arrest and the expungement of the records because I had nothing to hide, and (I) have a personal policy of openness and honesty about events in my life."

Local 6 News reported that it is awaiting Orange County to reveal Kronk's criminal background check.

Detectives from Orange County and the FBI are investigating the time and date stamps on the videotape and Dominic Casey's cell phone records as they strengthen their murder case against Casey Anthony.

Hoover said he has been cooperating with investigators since December 18 when he first realized that his videotapes had evidentiary value, but only allowed Eyewitness News to record portions of the recording and didn't allow the recording of audio.

In just the last couple of weeks, Evans said Kronk has voluntarily answered more questions from law enforcement. He has not been asked to take a polygraph.

Evans said that Kronk didn't follow up on his suspicions during the November visit because, with all the searches near the airport and Blanchard Park and with law enforcement's apparent lack of concern over the tips he called in, Kronk didn't take the time to back into the woods.

The Anthony&#8217;s attorney, Brad Conway, saw the tape for the first time Sunday night and he's not very happy about it because he says the person who released that video had no right to do so.

Conway says, a man who worked for Dominick Casey, James Hoover, took that video without their permission and tried selling it to TV stations.

Conway plans to go after Hoover&#8217;s private investigator license.
Hoover has not returned our calls.

Hoover claims that Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, who remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in her daughter's death, knew Caylee was dead and the video shows that he was looking for the girl's remains.

Meanwhile, the Orange County utility worker who discovered Caylee's remains in December will be interviewed Tuesday by "Good Morning America" and is being paid as much as $20,000 for a picture he took of the wooded area, sources told Local 6 News.

David Evans, the attorney for RK, confirmed to Local 6 News that there is a picture of the woods and it has been handed over to law enforcement.

Meter reader to give first interview since Caylee Anthony's remains were identified

The Orange County meter reader who found the remains of Caylee Marie Anthony last month is scheduled to appear on 'Good Morning America' tomorrow, the man's lawyer told the Orlando Sentinel.

ABC's director of publicity Bridgette Maney said the network did not pay Kronk for his interview, but did pay for his travel expenses to New York and paid to license a photo. The amount was not disclosed.

Kronk has been interviewed numerous times by Orange County deputies as well as FBI agents, but has not taken a polygraph.

Some wonder whether it was LA and even his own attorney checked into it.

Eyewitness News watched the video with LA's attorney, Tom Luka. The video shows the Anthony family's private eye, DC, prodding and poking the ground at the crime scene and on the cell phone with someone.

In the televised interview, RK said he felt deputies were rushed and not thorough in their search for the missing girl. RK, 46, made three calls Aug. 11, 12 and 13, less than a month after the girl's grandmother had reported her missing.

The deputy who had responded to the Suburban Drive area poked around the water with a metal stick then "swept his head back and forth and said, 'I don't see anything,' and pretty much, that was it," RK said.

"I guess the deputy didn't want to go into the water to look at the bag," RK said. "The cop was like...I would say, he was kind of rude to me."
