Family members say she has a number of features that are typical of a child with Turner syndrome: Two brown birthmarks are found on her left cheekbone and right jawline, her fingers and toes are chubbier than those of most kids her size and age, and her left eye is slightly smaller and unaligned (a condition called "lazy eye").
Haleigh is below average height for her age, typical of a Turner syndrome child.
Most grow to be no taller than 4 feet 6 inches, according to a report from the National Institutes of Health, and they are often treated with human growth hormone.

PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- Along with the talking about their rides out on the road, this year bikers passing through Putnam County on their way to bike week are also talking about Haleigh Cummings.
"If every biker keeps their eyes open and sees the pictures of her at stores and everything it can't hurt and if they catch the people that did it, I feel sorry for that man," says biker Mike Rizon.
Rizon is from Pittsburgh, and all the bikers he's riding with say they know Haleigh's story and are on the lookout.

Grandmother: Investigators Say 'We Have No Clues'

SATSUMA, Fla. -- Nearly three weeks after 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her bed in the middle of the night, the missing girl was featured on a national TV show while her family said dealing with the pain is becoming increasingly difficult.
Volunteers from across the state continue to arrive in Satsuma offering to help the family. Some searched the area around Haleigh's house Saturday on horseback. Others came simply to talk and pray with the family.
While media attention has not always been the family's liking, it realizes that keeping Haleigh's story in the public eye is its best hope to find her.

Tough Days for Haleigh's Family
Last Update: 3/01 11:18 pm
<snipped>
There were no organized ground searches Sunday afternoon, no briefings from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and no word on the whereabouts of five-year-old Haleigh Cummings.
The slowing activity in the case is not discouraging to her family who admits they are hurting but still holding on.
Haleigh's Grandmother Theresa Neves says she rarely gets any sleep and spends most of her days doing things to keep her mind occupied.
Neves believes her granddaughter's disappearance will end soon with a happy reunion.
"My Haleigh is still alive she has to be. That's the faith we put in God that our baby is still alive”, said Neves.

Eli Grimes, Haleigh Cummings Song
<snipped>
"No More (We Have Won!)" is a song written and sung by a local man named Eli Grimes. He was inspired by daily news reports of families losing their loved ones (especially children) due to violence in our city. The beginning words of the song are, "We are one!" The hope is the song will promote more unity in the community to strike back against violence in our city streets.

Police say they have received more than 2,000 leads but none of them has led to the child. The camps where Haleigh's parents have stayed for the last three weeks were empty Monday morning.
Haleigh's grandmother, Marie Griffis, says while others may be giving up hope she is not.
Griffis says detectives have described Haleigh's case as similar to that of Elizabeth Smart, of Utah. Smart was found alive years later. Haleigh's family says they hope for the same outcome.

Search For Haleigh Enters Week 3
Family Shares Home Video Of Missing Girl
POSTED: Monday, March 2, 2009
UPDATED: 7:17 pm EST March 2, 2009
<snipped>
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As the search for Haleigh Cummings entered its third week on Monday, the missing 5-year-old's family shared a home video of the girl with the public.
They said the video was recorded about six months ago. It shows the Haleigh happy and playing with her brother and a friend.
On Monday, a tip led investigator to a mobile home just down the road from the home from Haleigh was last seen. The homeowner there said detectives questioned him about a doorbell.
"It was just another tip they're following up on, which is good. They have to follow up on every tip. The only thing everybody cares about is this child that's missing, so it's not any inconvenience to me or my family. They're more than welcome to come any time they need to. A tip is a tip," said neighbor Marty Hubbard.
He said the investigators were looking specifically for a doorbell that chimed like a grandfather clock, and that some tip or lead led them to his house. Hubbard said he doesn't have a doorbell.

03/02/09 Last Update: 8:44 pm
<snipped>
SATSUMA, Fla. -- Three weeks have passed, two families are in separate camps, but both are waiting for one little girl to come home.
“I’m staying here till my baby comes home. I’m not leaving,” said Haleigh Cummings’ mother, Crystal Sheffield, as she arrived at her camp Monday morning.
Some days are tougher than others. Haleigh’s grandmother Teresa Neves said her son Ronald “lost it” at a vigil over the weekend after 21 days with few leads.
“There was a little girl here [Sunday] night and Ronald was helping her put down her candle. I think that was just too much for him,” she said. “I actually left him with a pastor Sunday night. His sister and I tried to help but sometimes it’s more than he can take.”

PINELLAS PARK, FL -- Taking a break from the search for his missing daughter Haleigh, Ronald Cummings dropped into the Tampa Bay area to add a tattoo showcasing his little girl.

Cummings walked out of the Aces and Eights tattoo shop in Pinellas County and spoke to ABC Action News reporter John Thomas. He showed John the tattoo that says "daddy's little girl, always".
