Mel Gibson unknown facts?

An annullment? I certainly hope the Church turns him down if he tries for one.

Unless something has changed in the past few years, Gibson--like his father--belongs to a splinter sect that teaches that the current and recent Popes in Rome are usurpers and heretics. The sect does not recognize the authority of what the rest of us would call the Roman Catholic Church.

So I don't know what Gibson's denomination's rules are on annulment, nor to whom he would have to appeal for one.

Seems good ole Mel observse the teachings of the Catholic church,only when it's convenient for him.

I don't care for him.

It's not just any teachings of the Catholic church he follows: he does not subscribe to the modern Catholic church... he follows the "Traditionalist" path. I can't remember the name modern Catholicism under the Vatican 2 is marked as, but I can remember that Mel made it clear he did not care for the Vatican 2 Catholicism.

There's an article on Mel and his family and new girlfriend in this week's People. Evidently he and his wife have been separated 3 years, since the drinking episode. Their relationship has been strained for some time. He has alot of children, the youngest boy is 10.

They say he's happier and more relaxed with Oxsana; she has a child with Timothy Dalton; and of course is pregnant now with Mel. She's evidently very talented, and plays concert piano.

He's worth a billion? so nobody will go without, materially anyway. Maybe it's for the best; I just hope he gets his alcohol prob. straightened out.

He was gorgeous. His movies were never my type, though. But he is very, very talented. HE"S NOT MY TYPE.
