Twenty-eight-year-old Melissa Huckaby was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Friday on suspicion of kidnapping and killing 8-year-old Sandra Cantu.

Huckaby was arrested at the Tracy Police Department, where she had gone voluntarily for questioning nearly five hours earlier, spokesman Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

Exactly. They've had the individual IP addresses for months if not more. They knew of the Tracy 60 BEFORE Sandra disappeared and only arrested one of them. This is not exclusive to Tracy. Every town and city has this data and access to this technology. They don't go after the pornographers because of time and money constraints but what they neglect to realize is that there's a child victim in every one of those images. If one of those 60 is responsible for Sandra's death and it can be proven, it's going to get very ugly. This technology is hugely traceable.

If these people are sharing this horrid stuff. I hope they are stupid. There are several ways a perp can hide themselves on the internet in regards to file sharing. IPs are one way to track them, but it depends on several things.

I will say this. YOU NEED TO put a SECURE firewall on your computer, put something higher than WEP password on your network and set yours to not broadcast. This way someone can't drive by and use your internet or your neighbor can't use your internet connection to do illegal things.

She was arrested 11:55 local time. From Tracy to the Jail in Angels Camp this time of night/morning would only be about 10 minutes.

Angels Camp is that close to Tracy? Are you sure? Seems to me it was longer when we've driven it. Angels Camp is past Stockton up I5.
Okay, just looked up her booking record, she's at French Camp, NOT Angel's Camp, big difference. French Camp is far closer to Tracy.

The Cantu family is going to have one of the saddest easter's ever, but let's hope that justice will be served for Sandra and protect all other children from this evil POND scum!
