Can't you see the fallacy in your own argument as written above?

AK can't account for how her blood got into the sink, so she doesn't know how (OR WHEN) it got there. Hence, her testimony that it wasn't there the day before means nothing except she didn't notice it the day before.

You'd make a better case if you argued the drying times of blood drops.

Can YOU Nova, see the fallacy in his argument? He wants to say AK is a liar and lied about everything the whole trial long, but then wants to say she told the truth when she said the blood hadn't been there.

This was stupid, IMO:

The first witness, Mario Alessi, was on the stand briefly before he turned pale and took ill and had to leave the courtroom.

After nearly an hour, he returned to tell the court a very convincing story about how Rudy Guede admitted that Knox and Sollecito were not part of Kercher’s murder and that a “drunk man” and a “fat guy” killed her instead. He started by recounting how he and Guede found a quiet spot in the prison yard out of the view of the closed-circuit television camera and Rudy poured his heart out, telling him the real story of Kercher’s murder. Alessi’s account was rich in detail as he explained how he tried to convince Guede to “tell the truth.”

The only problem with Alessi is the fact that he is one of Italy’s most notorious murderers himself, convicted for the 2006 kidnapping and murder of a two-year-old boy. The lawyer representing the Kercher family Francesco Maresca held up a photo of the child and asked Alessi, “Do you know who this is?” “No,” Alessi replied, looking away. “That’s ok, we know who he is,” replied Maresca.http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/06/18/amanda-knox-appeal-can-prison-gossip-free-her.html

But on the night of Kercher's murder, Nov. 1, 2007, Aviello testified, his brother came home with a ripped, bloodied jacket and was covered in scratches on his arms. He eventually said he had stabbed a young woman after surprising her during a break-in to steal a painting, Aviello said.

The painting was supposed to be stolen from a nearby villa, Aviello testified, but Aviello's Albanian friend jotted down the wrong address and the would-be burglars ended up in Meredith's flat, where they surprised her in her nightgown.

The brothers had then hidden the murder weapon and keys to the house in a nearby wall and covered the hole with mortar.

"Go and see for yourselves. Verify it! You'll find I am telling the truth," said Aviello. "Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are innocent."

Police and prosecutors have never publicly confirmed that such a search was done. Aviello's brother's whereabouts are unknown.http://www.seattlepi.com/local/article/Assorted-criminals-testify-in-Knox-appeal-1430190.php#page-2

Either this writer is lying or CNN is lying about what happened in court today. I wonder how we can get a unbiased account of what happened because this Nadeau person embarrasses herself as a journalist by interjecting her opinion in the news article.

Everyone is probably lying, corrupt, or incompetent, as usual. Perhaps the 5 convicts were not really convicts, but were in fact men of the cloth doing God's work ... or ... perhaps there was an assortment of convicts paraded through court telling conflicting stories about what they think happened on the night of the murder. Either way, in the words of Meredith's lawyer, it is a circus.

The facts don't match, so what's to verify?

From Candace Dempsey on Facebook, for those interested:

"I'll be on BBC Radio 5 tonight to dish latest developments in Amanda Knox case. Biggest news: her supposed accomplice Rudy Guede will finally have to face cross-exam in court, after trying to pin blame on her & Raffaele Sollecito, her Italian bf. This is a live broadcast."

I'd like to sleuth Mario Alessi's case, since Italy does such a horrible job prosecuting people. He might be innocent, too. Maybe that's why the people in jail are eager to testify with nothing in it for them. Because they want to help others from their fate. Not all of them, cause I certainly do not believe the mobster brother.

After the parade of muppets the prosecution displayed during trial and appeal, why even react to baiting by guilters? At least when the defense makes a mistake, you are able to admit it. Guilters never admit iprosecution mistakes. So let them have their fun. For some, the case is about entertainment, not true justice. Some people just want to be right that AK is an evil, guilty killer. Some people just want the truth and justice, some want to convict despite evidence. Any trully inbiased person tbat is in search of the truth, would not be so snide about it.

this is certainly interesting:

Alessi took the stand around noon, after a sharp drop in his blood pressure required a nurse's attentions (the stress of testifying had caused him to lose 15 pounds over he last 10 days, his lawyer told seattlepi.com). Alessi said he earned Guede's trust while they were incarcerated together.

I suppose they can prove he lost weight, and he was legitimately ill in court. So under the assumption that these things are true, I wonder what RG said would happen if MA indeed testified?

The guy claiming that the defense forged his signature is full of crap.

"Rudy links arms with me, inviting me to take a walk with him, he has something important to tell me," he said, adding that Guede was worried because "I don't know whether to tell the truth or not, and that the truth is altogether different from what you hear on TV."

According to Alessi, Guede said he and a friend went to the house Miss Kercher shared with Knox with the intent of having sex with Miss Kercher and that when she refused, the scene turned violent.

Mario Alessi said he believed Knox and Sollecito were not at the house at the time of the murder
He said Guede told him he had gone to the bathroom and upon coming back he had seen his friend holding Miss Kercher to the ground.

Eventually, "a knife appeared, almost out of nowhere," Alessi said, quoting Guede as saying that it was pointed at Miss Kercher's throat.

Alessi claimed that as she was fighting, her throat was slit. Guede tried to help her, but his friend stopped him, saying "we've got to finish her, otherwise we'll rot in jail".

Guede did not reveal the identity of his alleged accomplice, according to the witness.

Alessi said he and Guede had become friends but eventually he broke it off as he realized that Guede had said two innocent people were in jail and had done nothing about it.

Alessi said he then contacted lawyers representing Sollecito.

At the court's request Guede is to be heard as a witness on 27 June.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13823473

SMK, I believe you hit the nail on the head when you previous wrote:

Well, one of the articles stated that the Judge wants to hear from Mr. Guede. Mayhap this was a set up to get Rudy on the stand???

Rudy on the stand - imagine what will happen if Rudy then points the finger at AK/RS
