I didn't want y'all to think I was making up stuff. Highly interesting is it not?
Calling a cocaine dealer before and after Meredith's murder... and cause him to later get into biiigggg trouble.
Yes, it is interesting. I wish it were more straightforward, as in the Canadian case. There, there was never any question, but that a group of students had bullied and killed the girl. Very different context in Perugia. But it is always interesting to have more grist for the mill, certainly. So I do thank you. Fred, you do realize that both sides will never give an inch, no matter the outcome? :(

Yes, it seems so.

Another question for you to think over SMK:

Wonder why <modsnip> have shown the single pics of the lawyer trying to climb Filomena's window... but not the entire collection or video? Are these available too from BF or Charlie since they claim to have most of the information regarding the case? If he actually made it up or thru the window that would help AK/RS case immensely IMO.

I know they put bars on the window to protect the occupants after the murder. And I think the prosecution took quite some time to present the fact that part of their case was going to be built around the idea that the break-in was staged. I think that the reason the guy didn't climb through the window was because there were bars on it.

Having the boys downstairs, and the honors girls upstairs, was far from ideal. I still do not like Giocomo after what he said about Meredith, and I still blame the boys for the Rudy Guede connection.:snooty:

Yes! I always felt (especially being the old-school geezer that I am) that this was a terrible situation - a crime just waiting to happen! Were all/any/none of the boys students?

Thanks for agreeing with me. I think at least Giocomo was a student, but the boys were heavily into drugs, growing pot, and allowing Guede to stay over. Agreed: A crime waiting to happen. I do not think Mr. and Mrs. Kercher knew what situation their carefully raised daughter was living in. And would not have appreciated what the landlady had set up... :tos:

But you are assuming RG had obvious reasons for wanting a large sum of money quickly and AK and RS didn't. There are other possibilities IMO.

Could RS's allowance/account have been low?
Could they have been trying to make a drug deal?
Could AK have taken the money, and RS knew nothing about it?
Could AK have taken the money for a fast deal, planning to put it back asap?
Maybe she couldn't get to the ATM quickly enough or didn't want to make another large withdrawal. If she/they were already plastered, her/their decision making might not have been as sharp as usual.
Could AK have taken the money as a prank/joke... never meaning to keep it?
Could AK have taken the money only as part of the staging... to make it look as if a thief had broken in and taken it?
Etc...

I have been swayed by other arguments you have made, but only the last question seems remotely plausible. Murder for money by Amanda or Raffaelle is completely illogical to me.

A little too late to protect the occupants putting up bars after the murder IMO.

No bars that I can see in the pics.

Behind the closed shutters? I don't know. I found the reference to bars being put up here:

Incidentally, after watching Amanda's testimony here, I don't like her. I realize she is talking to Mignini who she actively dislikes at this point, but the attitude is all wrong. I still don't think she's guilty though.

Who is this guy? What's his name? This is very interesting stuff, if true. I see it's all from January though, so you'd think we would have heard more of it if it were really a smoking gun.

One cannot blame her for being a bit put out. She is using a translator, so she is pausing and stilted. Is that Mignini doing the questioning? In any case, I agree: Like her or not, her demeanor does not indicate guilt.

The constant having to stop and wait to have pieces of what I was saying translated would drive me :pullhair:
Got to wonder if those judging were affected by this inability to hear her present smooth connected thoughts...

The bars were placed on there much time after the murder and the two other break ins that used the balcony route. Not at the time of the murder.

Yes, AK's testimony really opened the eyes of the judges/jurors in getting accurate and good-faith information out of her IMO. Attitude was terrible.

In what way was her attitude terrible? I must say, I don't see it. :waitasec: She appears to be answering questions slowly, and able to understand Italian well. She says "Grazie" and seems polite. Just very Seattle....

As I mentioned earlier, getting information on this is impossible unless one could go thru the family or defense lawyers. Only ones who have claimed to have all the relevant information is BF and Charlie (IIP and JREF). Maybe someone can ask. No more info about it doesn't mean it is not a smoking gun... it could possibly be IMO. The only other way I can think of is trying to figure out the guys name by investigating who the lawyer named represents.
