As per the google translate above. Why is he not suing this person? He stated the bar was closed. I don't see his lawyer calling this individual a demon.

ETA

"It is certain that the prosecution initially did not matter to Amanda Knox and who the murderess, the important thing was having a killer fit, so that when it came out the name of Lumumba was recovered once a super-swift witness to affirm that the night of the murder managed by the local Zairian was closed. His name was inserted in the order of arrest and he was sought by all journalists, to which journalists released this statement: "Yes, I think that that night the place was closed. I pour the 19 I left home and I seems that the door of 'Le Chic' was closed. As long as do not know. I do not remember what I did tonight. " And all thanks to him to play "From the Lumumba", because those who had spent the damn evening in his restaurant every interrogation lost memory usage and anticipated output times"

Yes, interesting that PLE found someone who could corroborate their theory of the the crime with a false memory. Yet, for Amanda that's impossible.

Why is this photo relevant?

you are being serious when you ask that question? that photo absolutely effected what people thought and what they thought about Amanda.

Why is this photo relevant?

Because people seeing it couldn't believe an innocent person would shower in a bathroom covered in blood. So it certainly helped the public perception of Amanda as evil incarnate that PLE and the prosecutor were trying to build. And as you just saw, someone just now thought it was real blood and posed that question. I'm in disbelief that you're unaware of its relevance.

I hadn't even seen the photo until it was discussed here. Furthermore, anyone that decides someone's guilt based on a photo of a pink bathroom ... I don't know what to say. Strange. Blood simply doesn't turn pink after it leaves the body.

Gee, it couldn't be that they were given a bunch of bloody crime scene photos, of which one of them was not actually blood, but looked like blood, and came to that conclusion?

There was no reason to give the press that photo, as it served no purpose. Yet it was mixed in with actual photos of blood.

Did LE ever ask the paper to retract it?

Exactly, just as there was no reason for LE to give the press information on how many guys Amanda had been with or what she had written in her diary.

the only purpose any of those leaks did was to paint a picture of what they wanted the public to see when they looked at Amanda.

Chris Mellas released the diary.

Chris Mellas released the diary.

lol ok I stand corrected. lol good to see you didn't bother to deny LE released the info on her sex life..

Chris Mellas released the diary.

It was misreported that the list of guys were all men she'd slept with in Italy, when in reality, only two were in Italy. But to readers she had shacked up with 7 or however many dudes within a month.

You might also remember the diary entry you posted a mistranslation of where Amanda states Raf took the knife and put her fingers on it while she slept, which completed twisted what was actually written. She was actually ridiculing the idea that the knife from Raf's could have been used to murder Meredith.

Cite please

Absolutely! I'm going to look for that cite as soon as I see the one supporting the claim that police released the diary.

Mellas released the info after the false positive on the HIV test. He wanted people to think that Knox was being psychologically tortured by prison staff.

So Knox was making jokes about her fingerprints on the knife during the murder investigation?

According to her lawyers they did after the initial leak regarding the HIV and list of individuals she slept with by PLE....

I wouldn't call it a joke. More like sarcasm.

HA! Of course not! It was LE who wanted this damaging false info and photos out there for the world to see. What is shocking is, the person who leaked these them to Britain’s nastiest tabloid! YEP...Edgardo Giobbi, head of the Rome police squad and the one responsible for arresting Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito. FYI...Edgardo, is also GREAT buddies with Giuliano Mignini, the famed prosecutor.

What is sickening is... because they leaked the plethera of false info claiming AK and RS were Meredith's killers prior to finding out about RG, LE and the prosecutor felt they had to save face by concocting this wild story linking the three as co-conspirators.

It is truly unreal that rational, intelligent people still believe the Prosecutor's TALL TALE. :banghead:

Jokes, lies, sarcasm ... none of it is appropriate when giving a witness statement in a murder investigation.

Uh, it was written for herself in her diary. Not a witness statement.

I think Edda may have said that there was rye bread on the knife. That is not what was said by any of the experts.

Good point about the absence of all traces of Knox in Meredith's bedroom. Knox's bedside lamp was on the floor in the bedroom, and there was not a trace of Knox on the lamp. That is very unusual.

So how is it that Amanda managed to remove just her own DNA? :waitasec:

And Rudy's DNA along with Meredith's DNA was still left intact? Hmmm...???

Okay. That must be part of the diary that Chris released.
