MY OPINION ...

I sure would like to know HOW MUCH PRESSURE was put on Italy by the State Department and U.S. Politics in Washington, DC !

And such a sad day for Meredith Kercher and Meredith's Family !

Mignini left courthouse to jeers

The translation I heard, on live BBC feed, said not guilty by reason that they did not commit the crime. Not by reason of insufficient evidence. That's interesting, if accurate.

Actually it was my understanding that they refused to get involved? They watched the proceedings but declined to intervene. Do I have that right?

Finally, true justice for Meredith Kercher

Wow, so happy for Amanda!

That sucked. Wonder if she will be ostracized at all like Casey.

I am relieved. I am still on the fence, I still just dont know what happened to meredith besides rudy guede, but there was never enough evidence to make me believe they were guilty, I never thought they would be convicted in the first place.

I was thinking the same thing. I would not be surprised to learn that a lot of influence was used by the US.

Not sure how I feel about this verdict. I have felt from day one that she was guilty.

Couldn't agree more, although don't have an opinion the americans on here will lynch you for it
Hey, I'm an American, and I already have to live with Casey Anthony set free, too bad this one is on the West Coast...

interesting. certainly didn't think she'd be released. I'm happy for her family but never was convinced either way whether she was guilty or not (which means she shoulda been out a long time ago).

They would have all the facts wouldn't they? No sunshine laws there. LOL

Actually, my faith in the Italian justice system has been restored. They listened to everything again and it was no longer a court controlled by one crazy prosecutor, kind of like the Tonya Craft case. They reviewed the evidence and found her not guilty. I am happy.
