I am just thrilled. I ddin't believe it would happen but the evidence was awful. Just so happy both were acquitted. (imo one would not have been guilty without the other)

The rightful murderer is in jail! Rudy Guede visciously murdered MK. The victim has not been forgotten and will never be forgotten.

I'm so happy for them. And I'm not American by the way. What a nightmare, but at last we're seeing the awakening.

I do hope the Kerchers can cope. If only they had understood from the start that Rudy killed Meredith when she walked in on him robbing the cottage, they might have been moving towards closure by now. As it is, the rapist and murderer has been given a ridiculously short sentence. He'll be out all too soon, and if that was potentially the start of a serial killer career, I'd be very worried.

Finally someone in the Italian legal system actually LOOKS at and UNDERSTANDS the evidence, or lack of evidence and insured justice has been served for Merideth. Rudy and Rudy alone committed this horrendous murder.

There has been justice for Meredith - Rudy is in prison, remember, the guy who left his DNA, handprint in blood, footprints in blood etc...he is the killer of Meredith no doubt.

I don't think she will be ostracized like Casey A. There was so much less evidence against her - as in NONE, and the story of the sex games gone wrong was a fiction. I think the majority of the public has figured that out.
