Metal Rod?

WBG, I don't understand your confusion or conflict.

This is speculative based on testimonies and evidence presented to us: On Aug 11, RK saw the skull in swamp water. It wasn't covered by any bag. Some time between Aug 11 and Dec 11, the trash bag flops over and is now covering the skull. By Dec 11, the water has receded. RK sees a round shape beneath a trash bag and lifts the bag with his work tool. Beneath the bag is the same skull he saw back in Aug. He places the bag back down next to the skull, walks out of the woods and makes the call to his dispatcher/supervisor.

Gee whiz. Let's just call it woman's intuition. His various testamonies don't match/connect for me. That's all. It doesn't really matter what I think anyway.

Heh, count me as one who thinks his story is weird. I always felt that he knew he saw Caylee on Aug 11. From that moment onwards he was internally burdened with the fear of not remaining anonymous. You can sense it in his calls. We only later learned why he may have been so concerned about staying anonymous. It seems Kronk has skeletons of his own.

Worker Who Found Girl's Remains Owes Child Support

The central Florida utility worker who alerted police after he discovered remains which turned out to be Caylee Anthony was wanted by Maryland authorities for failure to pay child support.

Maryland's Department of Human Resources says Roy Kronk stopped paying child support in Ocotber 2006. On Monday they acknowledged that they had recently received a check for $5 thousand in back payments, but he still owes more than $10 thousand. Kronk has reportedly agreed to repay the rest by having his wages garnished.

Maryland officials say his role in cracking the disappearance of Anthony made it easy for them to track him down.

Maryland had a warrant for his arrest?

Well there's another reason to doubt him. He must of really needed some cash and quick. Just say'n. The plot thickens.

I don't know about the needing cash quick part. Waiting four months to say that you are looking at a skull is about as quick as molasses.

The article talks about him being easy to track down after the bombshell Caylee discovery. It sounds like he may have been successfully eluding MD authorities and his ex wife and son by laying low in FL.

Now if he sues LP he might be able to pay off the past due support with a lump payment.

NeJame gave RK $5000 as a reward. RK recently gave that same amount to his son. He agreed to have his wages garnished to pay off the balance remaining (over $10K still owed). That means he has been in some kind of contact now with MD authorities (or through his lawyer). I think reports from a few days ago said that RK settled for $5K. This new report makes it sound like there was no settlement per se, and that he will have to pay everything owed.

Is MD going to try to go after any money he was paid by GMA for the snake photo?

Maybe he was hoping his August discovery would reap a reward. That's why

he's angry that LE didn't respond the way he'd hoped they would. He can't

very well blame the peeps who put him up to the task.

Was it determined why MD took the snake in the first place? Very strange indeed.

One things for sure, there sure seems to be alot of snake charmers involved with this case.

I really don't think RK was out for money.

Was this snake dead when they found it and then killed it or was it dead when they found it? I have always been confused about this.

Based on?

I really don't think I know for sure about any of this. All just speculation and examination.

Based on? HMMMMMMMMMM. There are very many unanswered ?s for me right now. Speculation for me also.

First---He seemed to be hiding (hate to use that word) from child support. I think he would have been satisfied to have been anonymous. Just because he was a dead-beat-dad doesn't make him a full fledged criminal.

He was a bounty hunter at one time and that is a job of inter-self. The "hunt" factor in some peeps.

He seems to be very shy. I got the feeling from his first "presser". To me that was because of his lawyer. Sometimes lawyers talk clients into doing what "they" think is best.

I feel like I am rambling here.

In an earlier post, Hot Dogs reported that the snake was found dead. The docs just say "saw snake" (and didn't talk about skull again.)

I can't find the written facts.

I was using MD = Maryland. Anyway, there was no reason given for why Kronk's coworker kept the snake. I suggested it's because rattlesnake is said to taste like chicken. That was a joke, but people do say that. Of course, it's a cliche for any exotic meat. He may have kept it for the skin and/or the rattles. I saw the photo and the snake is dead but has no visible injuries. It looks pretty fresh and might be something some guy would want to take.

LOL. Last night you told me to pay attention to what you write. You just asked if they found a dead snake and then proceeded to kill the dead snake.

Kronk said that they found a dead rattlesnake. I think that is true. The photo shows a dead snake with no apparent mortal injuries. No visible injuries at all.

I think that is right based on Kronk's various testimonies.
Open your mind to the possibility of the trash bag moving to cover the immobile skull.

The bag could well have blown over the skull. I guess I keep getting hung up on media's earlier statements that the skull fell from the bag.

Hope I snipped this right. Yes, I do think he was sent out there by LE/FBI but I don't think RK knows it.

No, but in this mess anythang is possible. LOL
What if LE/FBI had bugged the house-------when DC found out about lookin in the woods then LE heard it. Maybe they told somebody from the County to help them out and they did-------thru Kronk.

I think LE would have gotten their butts out there and recovered the body themselves if they knew it was there. Even if LE "sent" RK out there secretly, the minute he called the tip in, they'd have had a real reason to go out to the woods and get Caylee. I really have a very hard time believing that LE knew Caylee was lying there in August, but did not take any steps to recover the body while there still may have been soft tissue which could have disclosed valuable toxicology and wound evidence. The very fact that they did not follow up on his tips tells me LE did not have a clue Caylee was there: they had cleared the area and that was that as far as they were concerned.

There were about 4 different versions of this reported by the media. Kronk himself implied to OCSO that the skull dropped out of the bag. But investigators determined that this was almost certainly not true. The skull had been laying in situ for a long time and apparently the bag was only covering it.

Therein lies my probs with his testimony. Ya'd think he'd know.

What? Last night I started to use MD instead of typing out Maryland. That state was trying to track down Kronk for past due child support.
