I found the case of this little girl on the UID wikia and figured I should post her here. There are no English reports on the case and my Spanish is limited, so I apologize for any translation mistakes.
This little girl, nicknamed "Angela" by authorities, was found in a suitcase in Mexico City on March 23, 2015. A man was captured on CCTV footage dropping off the suitcase two days before she was discovered, but he was never identified.
She was malnourished and had been sexually abused, and died from a blow to the head. Different reports say she was anywhere from 18 months to 2 years and 4 months old, and she was likely of Central American heritage. She was 85cm tall (about 2'8") and had straight, medium brown hair, brown eyes, a small nose, and a medium complexion. She was nude but wore earrings and a red bracelet made out of thread on her left wrist.
It is theorized that "Angela" was Kimberly Alizee Torres Rodriguez, a girl who went missing along with her parents on February 7, 2014. Her parents were later found murdered, but Kimberly has never been found. Kimberly's grandmother submitted DNA samples and an article from last year said the results of the tests would be available within 48 hours of the article being published, but I haven't found anything. The article also said that Kimberly was three years and four months old, but I'm not sure if that was how old she was when she went missing or how old she would have been when Angela was found. Even if that was how old she was when Angela was found, that would make her a year older than the estimated age, but then again Angela was so malnourished that she may have appeared younger than she really was. The two girls do look very similar, and I wish I know what became of this lead.
Other articles before the possible connection to Kimberly state that authorities believe that her parents may have been murdered as well. But honestly, if she isn't Kimberly, I feel that it's very likely that her parents (or another family member) were behind this.
