Isidro Avila, head of the Special Anti Kidnapping Group of the under-secretariat of Justice for the state of Chihuahua was assassinated in a surprise attack as he left his home in Cd. Juarez. He was killed with over 20 bullets fired from an AK47, in front of his family.
